We hired a Top 5 recruiter and put him in the middle of the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country - that also happens to be a destination location.

Saban and Kirby knew what was up - that's why they hired certain members of staff away from us.

Florida and Florida St (or at least their fans) haven't woken up to the new reality yet. It's going to be glorious.

We gave a top 5 recruiter, Bama level bags. It's over for these suckers

To be fair, we wouldn’t either if we were them. We said Jimbo sucked pretty much as he was lifting a crystal football in Pasadena. But it’s better that way. If they sheepishly bent over and grabbed their ankles, it wouldn’t be as fun. Watching them with hope and optimism as we squeeze the life out of them sounds much more exciting.

Not looking to bash the kid but why is he being sought after so heavily? Is it based purely on his size? The 247 ratings weren’t that high and his stats were ok.

Again not looking to bash the kid, genuinely trying to understand why he’s so valuable.

Its based on him being a good player as a true Fr, playing in thirteen games and starting one at a position where that isn’t too common. He finished the year as one of their better players and one they were expecting big things from in ‘22. Dude is a 6’6 300 pound space eater , not sure what “ stats” you were expecting

Played a lot as a true freshman and really came on strong the second half of the season. Going from high school to D1 is a huge transition. His future, with quality coaching and S&C is excellent. Could become a legit difference maker.

Plus with some big time coaching on defense to further develop those natural traits to the highest level

Thanks I didn't have that context. I saw that he had 22 tackles last year and it didn't pop off the chart for me. But given his position and how young he is it makes sense now. Thanks again

He started as a true freshman, it’s at a position of dire need for us and there just aren’t that many bodies out there to play said position and well. It’s not like there are 20/30 options out there every year
