6'4 250lbs 3-star DE from out of Apalachicola FL, goes to 4A school Gadsden County

Was originally at Port St. Joe his Freshman/Sophomore year then transferred to Gadsden.

Had 84tcks 5.5TFL's & 2 sacks his sophomore year. He used to play OLB/ILB at St. Joe but has moved to DE now. He's a big bodied long armed kid with a high motor, aggressive pass rusher with good hands fighting off blocks & is good in pursuit. He also plays off the ball well due to playing as a Mike backer in his early years.

He reminds me of Demetrius Jackson & would play in a similar role as a Viper in our system.

Committed to FSU last month on 1/25, but according to Ferman, Diaz has been contacting him & he's interested in coming down to visit Miami next month.

Holds offers from Miami, FSU, TAMU, Tenn, Kentucky, Nebraska, Maryland & FAU.

Let FSU keep his ***. He is exactly like all of the other edge guys they have signed as of late and why they are now selling their soul for edge rushers now because they don’t have ANY speed guys. They are about to take a guy from Youngstown St who graduated HS in 2014 and already transferred once. That’s how bad it is there. Let them keep this guy, we can do much better IMO.

I don't mind us applying pressure, I don't think we end up getting him anyway, but there's nothing wrong with recruiting & allowing him to visit.

The top 3 DE's we're after I believe are Jabari Ishmael, Shambre Jackson & Keanu Koht, we obviously should get Ishmael, Idk where we stand with Jackson & Koht is a possibility but has Auburn & UGA after him early.

I'd like to see us go after Travion Ford from STL, Elijah Jeudy from Philly (who we offered), Landyn Watson from Hutto & jump in on the Jordon Thomas recruitment.

DE is thin locally for the 21 class, but astronomically loaded for the 22 class.

We sent an Official offer to Josh & had already sent an Official to his teammate & good friend Darrell Jackson.

What does it mean? Doing our due diligence...

Farmer's Insurance if something unforseen happens in the 2021 dline class (cough cough Mike Mansco hedging).

If Jackson doesn’t get his waiver, they will be down two 2 deep interior contributors for 2023. Farmer was in line to start for the 24 season and someone they were very excited about going forward.

And yes, we should be after him IMO.

“His breakout campaign came in 2022 when he appeared in all 13 games and started to display flashes of his true potential during the 2022 season. He recorded 15 tackles, including 6.0 tackles for loss - which led all ACC freshman. He had 2.0 sacks on the season. He also had a quarterback hurry.

He earned Freshman Honorable Mention All-American honors via College Football News this past season. He was named the Devaughn Darling Defensive Freshman of the Year by FSU, for their in-house awards after the season concluded.

He was also a member of the All-ACC Academic Team and a Seminole Scholar this past season.

Farmer is the most significant loss for FSU to the NCAA Transfer Portal. He was expected to make an impact as a projected two-deep defensive tackle for the Seminoles this coming season. Defensive tackle is arguably the deepest position for the Seminoles in 2023”

So which is it? We should pursue? Or FSU can keep his ***? ;)
