2020 Freshman 15: October Edition

This... is... not going to be a very good class relative to what we expect is it? Lol.

@Stefan Adams, do you have any idea how some of the current commits/targets are feeling about the season thus far?

I would say most I've talked to are all very solid.

Chaney is always going to be one to worry about until he signs because you know how badly other top schools want him and how hard everyone is going to negative recruit Miami.

Antonio Smith recently decided to take other visits, but he's been the most solid of everyone in the class I'd argue. If he goes elsewhere, it's because UM pushed him out.

Miami has been considering dropping Riggins for numbers reasons for awhile now. It's gonna depend on who else comes on board at the end.

No way you listed flowe number 1 with a straight face

The order is based on more than just "Is he coming to Miami?"; the (2) top overall player at a (3) huge position of need that has set an OV to Miami is going to be ranked highly regardless of if he's a longshot or not. And anyway, the order is completely subjective and meant for discussion purposes really lol.

I agree he's a longshot, but from what I know about his recruitment, there's good reasons why Miami thinks they are hanging around.

Anyone whose followed the way you post these knows this list is NOT about who your “crystal ball” feels as close to a commitment

Its always been about ranking the most important players in terms of depth chart needs while also having a legit chance that they’ve given us i.e Flowe is a huge need since are LB numbers are a joke and He actually has a set in stone visit

Thanks Stefan to still put in work even though this season has been a train wreck

Right on the money.

And appreciate that. It really does wear on you at times haha

Justin Flowe is NOT coming under any circumstances whatsoever, 0% chance regardless of a vacay visit.

Jaylen Harrell is FSU's to lose, if they want him he's there's.

Hyppolite there may still be a chance we get him, but losing to GTech put a big dent in that happening, it'll be a miracle if we flip him. We should be guaranteeing him starter snaps for next year, but this staff is fckin retarded & cant recruit to save their lives, so don't hold your breath.

We had a good shot at Jalen Harrell, losing to GTech didn't help at all. His Dad wants him to stay home, but we're not giving him any reason to. Banda will have to work extremely hard to land him, which means the chances are highly doubtful. We screwed ourselves with this one.

TAMU after losing one of their DB commits turned up the heat on Brian George, we had a good chance at landing him back when he visited for Paradise but since then it's faded. Don't think we get him, staff got lackadaisical on this one.

Washington been signed sealed & delivered to UGA since July, bidding war with Bama the only thing that has held up his commitment.

Daz Worsham, not coming. Douglas Emilien, would be completely shocked if he picked us.

We should be making a serious push for Ronald Williams, he might be the only realistic shot we have left at CB.

And Francois not coming back, no kid decommits from a school twice only to sign with them, it's not happening.
There's not a player on Stefan's list that is coming here.

Yah think he sees the writing on the wall around south Florida considering UM'S no visit for commits policy.

Who's the program source? Straight from the corching staph themselves, I bet. Wouldn't trust a single word that comes out of their rebuilding mouths.

They're not landing the Flowes of the world, they're getting the Flaggs of the world.
Same one who thought Jobe, Stevenson, Campbell, and Surtain were coming.

Lovely. And entirely unsurprising.
