2018 WR Warren Thompson talks Canes.

As of now Austin is first in line for that fourth spot if we move on from Xavier but he's sorts interchangeable with elijah Moore. Alot of recruits are lobbying for a spot for elijah. My nephew thinks he's a beast & a great kid.

I agree. I'd be very happy with either Xavier or Elijah Moore taking that spot. Honestly, I'd take a 5th WR if both Xavier and Elijah wanted in.

I'd agree especially since Xavier is so multi faceted. But unless we take that into account we ain't going over 4 recievers. Irony at its finest. Just last year everyones beating on the staff cause we cant get the right players in. Now this year we turn them away... it's all just about numbers. This is why we couldn't afford to go fishing last year & why I still think we should've let Harley clear it. Moore has been begging to be a cane...

Yeah as much as everyone wants to predict us getting a class of 30, I think 26 is basically the max I think this class ends up being.

bruh we've already discussed this. And theres no way a minimum is 27. Get out of here with that Min is probably 24 if we don't land a few guys here or there. its just ridiculous the amount of people that would need to leave to get a class of 30. Its already going to be hard enough to get 26. And we've already discussed the repercussions of a class of 30 would have.

26 is ridiculously easy. 30 is difficult. We have 15 open schollies right now. There are 6-7 RS JRs (Mayes, Henley, McRay, Harris, Langham, Gray, Rosier if he gets bypassed) that could easily graduate. There will be 2-4 NFL defections. That's already 23-26. That's not even including any additional regular transfers and expulsions.

Get your head out of your ***, kid.

They're gonna target 27 minimum. The only way we don't get that is if kids defect at the last minute and we don't reach on plan Cs and Ds.

With Wiggins and Hightower committed which happen to be 2 receivers that are 6'2 and above that pretty much already takes care of the need of receivers with length. Pope measured in at 6'1 and its very likely he will be in the class. I'd say give the last spot to Xavier Williams/elijah Moore/ warren Thompson/ kevin Austin or Dominic watt

I really like Austin, but any of those 5 would be great for the fourth spot (assuming we get Pope).

Didn't you say a couple weeks ago we'd have to miss out on a lot of guys to even get to Elijah because he was so far down the list? Now, he's next up.

I believe He said we had 7 guys above Elijah Moore.
Pope, Hightower, Wiggins, Williams, Austin are definitely ahead of him so thats 5.
Then earlier he was talking about Copeland and how he tried to commit but there was some BS going on that might have led to us pulling his offer or some ****. So he was probably above Moore too = 6.

So not like he was that far off. Plus maybe last month we were recruiting Watt, Thompson, Harris or Joshua Moore harder.

You look like a sycophant white knighting so hard for a guy you don't know. He said the WR class was wrapped up months ago. He ridiculed guys who thought Elijah had an offer or that UM was even recruiting him. Said there was virtually no chance he'd get an offer and called him a midget.

Also claimed Xavier was already locked in. All kinds of wacky claims with this WR class including claiming we were taking 3.

I love what brooklyn brings to the board but I'll smh if he starts parroting phrases like "recruiting is fluid, guys."

But being honest with you shouldn't we be able to take it for granted that this bunch of grown *** men would understand that... it's a given most have never been in a position like this or actually fulfilled a dream but these are kids and this is reality. **** changes from one moment to the next. It shouldn't even need to be addressed cause it's common sense. It's like let's pretend chise was a decent lawyer rather than an ambulance chaser or whatever. He wouldve had firms bidding for him coming out of college etc. He might think he's already fielded his best offer,UNTIL A BETTER OFFER COMES... nothing is a given

Look at this wounded clown, who is hiding behind some fake claims of being a scholarship football player at UM, making **** up about my professional reputation like he has the slightest clue who recruited me aggressively out of law school or where I was hired out of law school.

Meanwhile, there isn't a scholarship football player at UM that fits the descriptions and time frames he's provided on here. No one at RCA Music/Sony of any consequence fits his description either. Bunch of execs over there, and not one has his claimed background. Yet he's some high roller. LOL

This dude's sounding more like Dyron "RJ Hustle" "Big Conch" Curry every day. Hurry up and get the mods to delete this post before your fake persona gets blown.

Pretty sure a Full class is 25. But you can count EE's as the previous class - up to 25 for that class. It gets complicated when you work all that out since we don't really have all the information.

The Eligibility Chart is ****ed up again somehow, but what we do know is We will have 14 spots open after this yr automatically. So the remaining 16 spots to get to 30 would have to come from guys declaring for the draft or transferring out. Now I already think getting 10-12 to leave is going to be difficult to even hit 26 which I think is the most reasonable expectation. Now if you added up all the guys I would like to see transfer out I can come up with 17 guys (not including Declaring early). But Is it reasonable to actually expect that many guys to leave? **** no. I don't think its reasonable to see half that amount actually leave in any given year unless they are all grad transfers, Plus it would absolutely **** up our depth and leave us with very little experienced players - not a recipe for success.

We will have 15 spots open this year. And no, besides losing the NFL early draft guys like Walton and DTs, the rest of the kids that would attritt out are kids that dont have much experience anyway so no, we wont **** our depth chart or lose experienced players. Harris, Langham, Rosier so far, Gray, Mayes, McRay, etc are perennial bench warmers.

Don't recall him ever saying we were only getting a class of 3. In fact I specifically remember him saying it was possible to get 5, IF 4 of them were Wiggins, Pope, Hightower, and Williams.
And I'm pretty sure he's consistently been saying that Moore does not have a committable offer. If nsd was today we'd only take a commitment from him if Williams and Austin passed...and even then he might still not get it over the other Moore. And the WR class is essentially wrapped up. We have 3 of the guys committed. and can easily get the last spot filled, but we are holding out to see if we can get Williams. You're making this difficult for no reason.
I'm sure we are recruiting 10+ guys at WR and Elijah moore is certainly one of them. It would make no sense not to, but he is not on the top of our board. And you know that, but are literally arguing over the fact that last month he said Elijah Moore was like 9th on our WR board, but now is 6th or 7th - and defends that by giving you 3 names that we essentially conceded recruiting since then.

I guess you're only real point is that he shouldn't have said Elijah moore has no chance, when in fact he does have a small chance.

Because he deserves to be a cane. Don't think Austin is coming. I would have traded Moore for Harley if I could.

They had to fill the class though but I know what you mean. If Moore isn't in this class and Xavier stays with Alabama I'll be disappointed. Has sterling shepard like traits. I would never want to play him.

Unless some of those 24 from 2017 are applied to the previous class also....I think?

2015: 5 EE's out of 22
2016: 5 EE's out of 19
2017: 10 EE's out of 24

If the 5 EE's from 2016 were applied to 2015, that would mean the 2016 class was 14, and would mean the 10 EE's from 2017 could be applied to 2016 and still be under 25 for that year. This would mean the 2017 class would technically be 14, leaving 11 spots available for EE's in the 2018 class...as an absolute max. That would mean 36 is the most we could possibly sign and still be at the 25 per class limit...which basically means we do not have to worry about the class size limit.

But, we only have 36 total Seniors/Juniors/Spots remaining, so getting the full class of 36 would require all of them to leave next year.

Also claimed Xavier was already locked in. All kinds of wacky claims with this WR class including claiming we were taking 3.

Don't bother Chise, most of this board has D's dyck so far down their throats, they gag everytime they log onto this site.

D has been wrong more that right, but these dudes are so starved for news they'll believe any **** thing

Sounds like you got Chise's dyck down yours.
Read Chise's response and tell me that doesn't sound like a kid mad that another kid is getting some attention.

Look at this bytch. Can't let this **** just die off, yet is calling me a mad little kid. Keep white knighting, bytch.
