2018 Prediction Win Total

I’d love to see 12-0 but that’s not realistic. So I’m hedging on 10-2 and hoping for 11-1. I think that BC game, albeit with 13 days to plan for, will be a nail biter of a game. We’ll get to see how truly well thee DL and LB’s are playing in that contest.

10-2

we'll drop a game due to rosier and/or the o line

can't wait to get searls outta here

11-12 wins. Folders players are gone except for the “lifers” like Milo, and Terry Macray, who I think will get a retirement when he’s done here..lol. Teams young but full of Dogs, so that bite will overcome any inexperience. Gonna be a **** of a year🙌🙌🙌

It's fckin Syracuse, we own GT, VT has too many holes on D, fsu will play tough, Pitt gets a beating this year.

We could lose any of these games, but I see no reason to be concerned. We should win them all, if we don't it's on us because there's nothing scary about any of those teams.

Syracuse beat Clemson last year. Not to say 'Cuse is great, but it did happen.
GT and VT are always a tough out.

This Canes team, while vastly improved from a couple years, is still not good enough to be penciling in wins.

9-10. We got lucky last year in a few I wouldn't be surprised to catch an L or 2 in unlucky fashion to average it out

I am going with 12 straight. On paper this team has the depth to survive #1 WR, TE and RB going down. With the new 4 games rule, I am looking forward to see which Freshmen contribute.
Now We do, we didn’t have that last year

Absolutely realistic. Not probable, but certainly realistic. When you're favored to win every game, it's certainly realistic that you win every game.

I do think the most probable outcome is 11-1. 10-2 MIGHT be OK as long as we beat FSU. Anything less than that is an unmitigated disaster and complete failure of a season.

I admit our ability to lose any given game, but that's on us. None of those teams are scary, we only lose if we don't show up. Same as Pitt last year...they were good, but not good enough to beat us if we'd brought our C game.

11-1 or 12-0

If we lose 2 games this year that would be a big let down & they will be in a row, because whenever we lose we lose in streaks.

There's not a single team on our schedule that has more talent than us from top to bottom. If Searels doesn't take half the season to figure out the best 5 on the OL, we won't have many weaknesses on Offense except for QB inaccuracy. Which can be game planned around with an improved run game & a quick passing attack.

It's still super early before Fall camp has started, there will definitely be some injuries, but this time we'll have the depth necessary to overcome that.

And LOL @ anyone worried about GTech, Richt is literally 15-2 vs GTech, we won't lose to them regardless of where we play them. The game we have to always be on alert for is FSU (which I think we smoke'em at Home) & late season trap on the road vs Va Tech.

Also, we've really struggled vs UNC in the 2 years Richt has been here, for whatever reason they seem to always have a beat on Richt's offense. But I still think we beat them this year.

12-2 overall
11-1 reg season (not sure against who but we're not good enough yet to not lay an egg against somebody)
1-1 post season (lose against Clemson, win our bowl game)

My “witty retort” stated a fact you ******* moron.

Then you're wrong, its actually 2-8 and prior to that it was 2-8 in GT's favor and again that has nothing to do with the fact that without a lucky break we lose last year, so run along and let the adults discuss football.

Barring a whole bunch of injuries, I'll go with an 11-1 regular season. I'm still not sold that this team can keep the focus enough to not lose at least one game they should win. There's going to be another Pitt-type loss this year. I do believe that they won't be allowing teams to stick around as much this year as they did last year. No need for a last second field goal to beat a GT team that got dominated everywhere but the scoreboard again.

What's a bigger lucky break, catching a deflected pass or returning an onsides kick for a touchdown?

QuattroCane is auditioning for Most Objective Cane Fan. It’s a very prestigious position and leads to allocades on other teams’ message boards. Iguess we should let MOCF be.

LSU and FSU dont worry me nearly as much as BC and VT tbh. BC is good and elite at a couple positions, and VT on the road is tough no matter the roster, especially after GT. I think we go 1-1 here and finish 11-1.

wasnt they accused of stealing signs last year? Maybe that has something to do with it but we have struggled with them for sure the last 2 years

i'm about to write a james jackson post up in here:

I'M ******* SICK AND TIRED OF DOG **** ******* VA TECH BEING A PAIN IN THE ***

THAT GAWD **** TIER 2 PROGRAM WHO HAS BEEN FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO PLAY US SO MUCH IN OUR DOWN YEARS HAS THE NERVE TO THINK THEY'RE ON THIS LEVEL

**** THEM, **** THEM ASSHATS OVER THERE, **** THAT TRAILER PARK VIRGINIA, **** BEAMER BALL, **** THEIR TRANSVESTITE FAN BASE THAT CAME ABOUT WHEN HITLER MADE KIDS WITH DRACULA

MAY GOD ALLOW THEM TO STAY WITHIN 80 POINTS OF US FROM THIS YEAR ON OUT.. RUN IT THE **** UP

Nice breakdown. Would love to start blowing teams like UNC and UVA out. Nesta coming along quickly would help with uncertainty at DT.

LSU is the tone-setter though. Will display how much, hopefully, Rosier and the OL have improved.

I can't wait till we lose a game this year just so that the Canes can win the following game and prove you wrong LC.

/sarcasm

Solid post based on facts and solid reasoning as usual. Don't forget though, that UNC has had a pretty solid bead on us for a few years now, not just since Richt got here. They really don't like us, but I think Fedora is being revealed as a fraud and that program is falling apart back to where it belongs. I'm not worried about UNC.

Along with the couple you mentioned, Friday night in late fall at BC worries me. Those are the three I could see us losing. I agree, any more than 1 regular season loss will be disappointing, more than two devastating.
