2018 DT recruiting

Moten and Jenkins will be seniors. Norton, McIntosh, and Willis could all leave early for the NFL. That would leave Martin and Ford as the remaining DTs on the roster. Fines has been rumored to be switching to OL.

I'm not counting Glen Logan. By all accounts, he is currently enrolled at LSU and doing offseason workouts.

I don't doubt we could lose one, but losing 3 jrs at one position is unlikely.

Is Jenkins sticking with the team? He'd be CRAZY to GT out. I know Willis wants to go pro ASAP, but he has to deliver on the field. I haven't heard McIntosh or Norton talk about leaving early. Regardless, whoever is third man isn't going, most likely only one goes. And Bethel slides inside.

But yeah, Logan or a Juco would be very nice right now.
 
When have we or anyone else lost 3 underclassmen at the same position to the NFL?

Any way, I think there is a very good chance R.J., Norton, and Willis declare. H#ll Willis wanted to declare after this season. So, we will need 2 or 3 DT's in the next class.
 
I never disagreed we need to load up on dts, but, I think it's unlikely all 3 declare early for the NFL. Makes zero sense and would be unprecedented.
