Which ones are actually doing great?

Everyone complaining about Mario please show me better coaches who took over **** rosters doing well in?

Louisville is 1 and their schedule is the weakest **** of all time
SMU? Who cares it’s a weak conference.

Now how many are struggling just like Mario. This is college football now. It takes a few year to turn around programs and rosters. That’s just reality.

Please share more coaches if you think of them.

Last year TCU made the playoff year 1. The coaches at Kansas and Duke had much worse situations and had big turnarounds. None of those coaches are getting paid top 10 $ either. If you’re looking at the recruiting rankings then OK, Oregon, UT, Tenn aren’t much different than Miami, but are all looking like quality teams. I can’t remember how long the Missouri coach has been there, but he’s shown progress over the past couple years. DeBoer hasn’t been at Washington long (maybe 3rd year?). That’s around 9. We just got beat by another in Brohm. Kiffin has done more with less talent. I’m sure there are more. Stop looking for copium. Mario is falling flat.

It's a few Brian Kelly, Kalen Deboer at WA, Mike Elko and Lincoln Riley worst seasons are Mario's best season. I'm also sure oregon fans are happier with Lanning at the time.

You write off Brohm‘s success because his schedule was easy” but left the part off of him tea bagging the guy you‘re making excuses for. Weird.

This will be a fun thread. Here’s the answer to your slurpism + lack of college football knowledge.

Brett Venebles
Year 1: 5-7
Year 2: 9-2
(losses to #7 Texas, #23 Oklahoma State)

Mike Elko
Year 1: 9-4
Year 2: 6-5
(*Lost starting QB after beginning year 6-1, key wins include Clemson and NC State)

Dan Lanning
Year 1: 10-3
Year 2: 10-1
(loss to #4 Washington)

Kalen DeBoer
Year 1: 11-2
Year 2: 11-0

Brian Kelly
Year 1: 10-4
Year 2: 8-3
(losses to #4 FSU, #7 Alabama, #13 Ole Miss)

Sonny Dykes
Year 1: 13-1
Year 2: 5-6
(lost 11 starters + slew of contributors from his Natty team)

Rhett Lashlee
Year 1: 7-6
Year 2: 9-2
(7-0 in conference)

Marcus Freeman
Year 1: 9-4
Year 2: 8-3
(losses to #1 Ohio State, #10 Louisville, @Clemson)

Billy Napier
Year 1: 6-7
Year 2: 5-6

Joey McGuire (Texas Tech)
Year 1: 8-4
Year 2: 6-5
(also lost his starting QB for a fair portion of the year)

Mario Cristobal is performing like Billy Napier. Not even accounting for first-year coaches like Jeff Brohm (10-1).

Mario Cristobal is Billy Napier. Not even counting for first-year coaches like Jeff Brohm (10-1).
vernables beat Texas and lost to Kansas.

Mario is not Billy. Mario has won double digit games and multiple pac 10 titles. I didnt like the hire but some programs take longer. also some coaches have a great first year and fall off. LSU, ND, and Ok all left their new coaches more talent.

Lanning looks like a killer.

Not stand Mario is succeeding. Thanks for pointing some out.

Sark is in year 3 at texas

TCU was a stable program with an extremely veteran team last year. I mean Patterson was there forever. Great year 1 with his players and now look where they are

Washington got an NFL transfer QB and had stability with Peterson for 11 years. Clearly maimi doesn’t even have an nfl QB. I blame Mario but you see my point.

Kiffin is in year 4 at Ole Miss. he doesn’t count

Tenn had a good year one with a 25yr QB transfer. See the trend here with QB’s. Now Tenn is starting to struggle this year.

Duke is 6-5 haha why do ppl keep bringing up Duke as some major turnaround.

Oregon is Mario’s roster plus a old *** 5th he QB who was a 5 star I believe so kind counts for Mario.

You didn’t really make a point. Year 2 not many are succeeding at high levels outside of lanning and then Brohm with Louisville who has played no one this year.

Yes Mario has failed to date I will agree but 95% of coaches in year 2 have. The only way to change quickly is hitting an nfl QB in the portal. Miami hasn’t done it yet.

Stop saying elko. Duke sucks this year.

Kelly brought in a top transfer QB. That’s the key with any of these teams. Same with Washington. Both had/have more talent than Miami in key spots. Ppl don’t realize how bad mannys recruiting was.

Lincoln has been terrible this year with an NFL top qb haha.

He is Billy Napier at The University of Miami. Those Pac 10 titles didn't travel with him. It serves 0 purpose to bring it up. He is a terrible HC.

Stopped reading here because it’s very clear you don’t actually watch CFB besides Miami.
