We are jumping byu with a win
Just need 1 team to lose and that counts bama's 3rd loss in second title game

Our only chance of making it is a convincing win at Pitt and either a bama loss or bama barely beats auburn and doesn’t play welll.

I think we only jump them if we can somehow get to #10.

If we jump them at #10 and #11 then they're getting eliminated and we're getting in. No way the committee does that.

They'll only let us jump ND if we're both safely in.
Maybe. There’s game left to be played. Stanford is being run by a pro coach with ALuck in the building, yes their season is effectively over but I don’t see them just dying for ND. If the last time we see us and ND is us hammering Pitt and ND maybe playing with their food some, how does that change things?

I can understand why people say today ND is better than us. But we can erase that entire narrative by throttling Pitt. If we can hammer them, then we can point to look what we did to a team ND just played. Are we as far apart as some claim? Also, don’t let the weather factor not come into play. If we get to 10 we could play a road game vs someone with **** weather. Maybe Oregon, idk. The point is, if we can win convincingly in bad weather, vs a team ND just played, the conversation becomes A LOT more difficult.

What if we handle pitt and nd struggles with Stanford but wins.........
That’s my thing. Stanford doesn’t have to win. We beat Stanford what 42-7? During our doldrums. If that game is close, the talking point of ND controlling games, etc becomes less convincing. Just make the conversation difficult.

Someone else posted it but win vs Pitt, pass BYU. They lose CCG. Bama beats Auburn and wins SEC champ, passes ND to 9. ND vs. Miami 10/11, right next to each other there is no way they can avoid the H2H there. (Right?)

We are in position. If one of bama, ole miss & Oklahoma don’t lose this weekend, combined with the ACC stuff and Oklahoma beating bama with a 4.8% PGWE, it’s just an all time bad beat.

All you can do is take care of Pitt and root for chaos. It hasn’t come in the past 2 weeks. This is cfb. We all know it’s due.

Look around at the schedules of the teams in front and around us. Then look at the opportunity we have this weekend.

Bottom line is you beat #22 Pitt on the road convincingly and we’re in.
