So that’s Kenneth. I’ll be durned.

As amazing as an NFL head coaching job is with the life changing money, there are definitely some organizations that seem to be dead ends where the coach goes knowing he will be fired within 2-3 years. Bad ownership is difficult to overcome, just as a bad admin in college is difficult to overcome.

Texans (4 HC’s in 4 years!)
Carolina
Detroit (though maybe Campbell is turning the corner)
Cardinals
Browns
Raiders
Jets
Dolphins (sorry)
Commanders

On one hand I find it laughable that a guy with his resume would be considered for a head coaching job. On the other hand, the NFL is a total copycat league. Owners always do what other owners do. In recent years we've been seeing the rise of the young, nerdy head coach. Maybe this is just an NFL owner trying to figure out who the next up & coming young nerdy creative mind will be.

out of curiosity, what happens if a team says, "nope request denied."
More of a formality than an actual request....think of when applying for a new role at your company...you're more of informing them than asking them. Same with this. Wording of it can make it seem like they can say no though

So…pretty much the same kind of thing as asking your future father-in-law for his daughter’s hand in marriage, right?
