The majority of Americans don’t like him.

National polls in 2016 were spot on.

Final RCP average had Hillary winning popular vote by 3.

Actual result was Hillary +2.3.

The state polls are where there were major issues.

Poor sampling coupled with lack of quality pollsters in the Rust Belt led to Trump massively over performing there.

National polls were good. State polls in several key states were very bad.
