“The Jeff Thomas Crew” is the ROT in this Team....

OP Makes it more mind boggling that he brought him back. I said this was a bad move from the get go - most anybody who played the game has been on teams with those types and know it. Manny saw it the year before, and still did it. Sometimes we make our own beds...

"There is NO COACHING ANSWER for QUITTERS and MENTAL MIDGETS...."

How come this only happens here?
How come we don't see many quitters and mental midgets on other teams? Are we that unlucky? Or our coaches can't recruit and develop good players?

FSU fans step up and say "it doesn't just happen in Miami" lol Florida underperformed until Mullen came to town. It happens. The key is having the right coach who can spot the issue in possible recruits and avoid them. Someone who can get those players with selfish tendencies to accept the team concept.

Hopefully Manny can do it, but it is quite doubtful.

That is a massive oversimplification. The reason those teams don't have the "disease" is that they have a 4-5 star backing up a 4-5 star at a majority of their positions.

Any player who tries to be a diva has another one right behind him who's just as talented, or more, and hungry AF to get on the field. We dont and havent had that.

Look at the recruiting rankings for the last four years for the rest of your list. Aside from Clemson, which is a unique animal in college football right now, NO team is sniffing the playoff or even regular season dominance year in and out without OVERWHELMING talent.
We have been ranked higher in recruiting than many teams that don't have such disease epidemic. Now you will say those ranking don't mean anything. Sure, one excuse after the other. I'm not even talking about teams like Alabama and Clemson. I'm talking about teams at our "level" who don't have 4-5 star backing up 4-5 star. If we at least beat those teams we are in much better shape, but we aren't.

You're making my point for me. Thanks.

JEFF THOMAS’ BIGGEST PLAY OF 2019?

The FUMBLED Kick-off return catch against the GATORS that COST the team 7 points.....

That will be history at UM after he get’s kicked off the team...

OP is a flat out racist. Have problems? Blame the poor young black guy. How he isnt banned for endlessly attacking a 20 year old who is not a professional, isnt paid, and volunteered to come play for us, is beyond me.

If true, then why isn't Manny a stand up guy? Why isn't he kicking these "cancers" off the team in one big announcement, showing the whole team who is boss...No, we get a whimpish "re-build" comment that he tries to walk back with as stupid a set of comments any HC has ever said.

Nice try Hecht sycophant; tell Blake and the *******, "Hi."

JT was suspended and had a chance to play this game— it was reported during week “we’ll see if he comes off suspension”—the fact he didn’t shows you he’s still a problem.

You said "crew." Did Manny play some of them today? Do tell Hechter...

Kid has had a tough life and upbringing. Talked to someone who know him and his peeps back home and let’s just say he came from an environment where there is not a lot of guidance or a father figure around and east St. Louis is just a tough place to grow up from in general. Hope he turns it around

Ohh you wanna play numbers games?

How many missed tackles?

How many missed FG's?

How many dropped passes?

How many missed blocks leading to nation leading Sacks Allowed %?

How many running yards allowed by D?

psshhhh you wanna 20/20 hindsight some coaching decisions? those don't stack up against the failures of the players--

I'll say it again:

1) I don't care what their star ratings are

2) How much skill do they actually show?

3) How hard are they actually practicing?

These are the only means of success-- and i don't see evidence of enough SKILL and HARD WORK for MANY PLAYERS of this formerly 7-6 team for me to believe that ANY coach could improve them...
But the coaching staff gets credit for every Rousseau sack or big Jordan/Osborn catch or Deejay run right ? We get it my dude you think coaches are getting paid millions to just sit there so nothing and let players play. There is no difference between Golden and Saban because it’s all on the players

Hey liquid,
Look at this: You don't have to have 4-5 star players backing up 4-5 star players to be on 8 game winning streak. Coaching. Coaching, get it?

What is your answer to this? Does Minnesota have 4-5 star athletes backing up 4-5 start athletes?
And please don't say they have weaker competition because the ACC as whole is weak, sans Clemson.

You can find an example or two anywhere. Show me any team consistently playing at a level higher than their four year recruiting ranking.
