“The Jeff Thomas Crew” is the ROT in this Team....

Simple question: If Jeff Thomas is the rot of the team, why did Manny bring him back?

Manny has a good vision but awful execution/decision making. He’s been snake bitten so far. Hopefully it’ll turn bc I do like him and think he knows what needs to be done but can he actually make the right decisions (coaches) do get it done?

How about, we just aren't that good. Players play and coaches coach... well the players are playing like **** and the coaches are learning all of this in a brutal year one. If the coaches suck in year 2, we officially know its both. But we know the players sucked last year too, so at least that's consistent.

This board is worse than the football team

Exactly! I'd guess that approximately TWENTY-FIVE percent of CIS are 4- REAL! The rest of Cane dudes just be venting their frustrations, grievances and all that!

No wonder Miami Hurricane football fans wear the BADGE OF HONOR fro being the absolute WORST major college football fans in the nation! And that's no ifs, buts or get the F' outta' here, TROLL!

It would help if we had a full roster of Jimmy Murphys

I think we might really get whipped in the trenches then with a bunch of 5'7" linemen.

Seriously though, you have an issue on the team as a coach you handle it one way or another. Force them to be part of the team, or work them off of the team. There were drills that you never want to do that were designed for punishment and other things that can be done to break them. They will either quit, or become stronger for the process.

Letting a player or players be a cancer is either due to the staff being cancers themselves or that they have no ultimate control over the team. Either way it falls on the staff.

When player talent isn’t matched and accentuated by equal and even better coaching talent, then you get dissension and toxic resistance. Special and Uber talented people don’t mesh well with mediocre excuse makers. The kids behaviors are reactionary.

This is what happens in unbalanced relationships especially marriages. Jeff Thomas’ attitude is a by product.

Imagine Jeff Thomas on Bama, Clemson, or the Suckeyes. An unquestionable first round talent and first team All-American.

It's just a coincidence that those rotten players happen to be on teams with the coaches who didn't do sh** during their tenure here and eventually got fired or retire. We had them with Coker, then Shannon and then Golden and Richt. You are right. They are all good coaches, the ones we had the last 20 years but all were unlucky to have quitters on their teams. You are genius my friend. You solved the puzzle I was struggling with all those lousy seasons we had since 2002.

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH U!

And, these so-called Hurricane fans making JT a SCAPEGOAT!!!!!!!!!! Now that's fresh.
