“The Jeff Thomas Crew” is the ROT in this Team....

The 7-6 team is the same 2019 team....

There is a group of JT-like sissies and prima donas that want to ***** and whine about playing time.... But when PLAYING TIME COMES.... they MUFF the ***king plays....

That's head-case stuff.... if they refused to be coached, then they are worthless to us....
You still haven't answered my question. Why only us, in every regime we had in the last 20 years, had those kind of players? We heard the same excuse from Coker regime until today. How come every prominent program, recruiting the same players we recruit (UF, UGA, OSU, etc) Don't have the same disease we have. It must be in the building then since those same players if they go somewhere else they don't seem to be inflicted with the same disease. The logical answer is, it's coaching stupid.

Double reverse on the the 10.

Tight end sweep at the five.

Rosseau at dB.

4th 17.

Everything you are typing is utter nonsense.

Ohh you wanna play numbers games?

How many missed tackles?

How many missed FG's?

How many dropped passes?

How many missed blocks leading to nation leading Sacks Allowed %?

How many running yards allowed by D?

psshhhh you wanna 20/20 hindsight some coaching decisions? those don't stack up against the failures of the players--

I'll say it again:

1) I don't care what their star ratings are

2) How much skill do they actually show?

3) How hard are they actually practicing?

These are the only means of success-- and i don't see evidence of enough SKILL and HARD WORK for MANY PLAYERS of this formerly 7-6 team for me to believe that ANY coach could improve them...

players AND coaches suck

south florida has become overrated as it can get.

lemme hear some names from our top dogs that are from south florida go people let's see these tip top athletes and post their stats as well.

Case in point:
2008:
Randy Shannon successfully recruited the best of the best of Miami HS football that year. Top dogs, inner city, tough Miami Northwestern Senior HS national championship team. Most of the college programs in the country where salivating to get those kids.

Recruiting those kids earned Shannon and UM the number 1 spot in ESPN recruiting ranking. Fans were on cloud 9. We thought we were on the road of winning a national championship.
Fast forward 3 years and you could hear the same argument you are using now. Not that it was all wrong because there was culture of entitlement that was brewing there. Players were infected with the same bug you are saying the players TODAY are infected with. What exactly happened?

Coaching failed to get the best out of those kids and make them better. Reality is, Shannon got raw talent and young minds and failed to make them responsible men and dedicated tough college players. Shannon allowed the disease to spread and it lead to his coaching demise.

Butch knew how to deal with Diva's ......he would have told him what expectations were up front.....then he would have game planned for JT4 to get the ball early and often in EVERY game.

Same with HS, JJ and CE......they ALL knew that a happy Diva is a motivated Diva
You're an idiot. You have no idea what Davis or any former coach would do..

So are you telling me that Z’s way of recruiting is the right way and that we make SFL too much of a priority?

JT4 and the players like him on this team who averaged as a 12th best recruiting class are the rot within the program....

THEY ARE QUITTERS AND NEED EJECTED FROM THE TEAM

Who’s saying this????

1) Beginning of season Diaz already said “we need to change the culture at Miami”... he was telegraphing the message there was a culture problem at UM

2) Weeks ago when Diaz stopped practice because of a “lack of focus”...

3) Players like Shaq has been quoted saying after every losing game — “the players need to respond”

4) Brett Romberg podcast about their experiences trying to coach up the players resulted in yawns and “who gives a ****” attitude from some players...

Repeating over and over it's the coaches fault there are players who are quitting in practice, not paying attention in practice which then leads to quitting in games and not paying attention in games (AKA DJ Ivey daydreaming while the LB scores a TD on a fake punt).

All the signs clearly show there is a group of players on this team QUITTING on the team...

There is NO COACHING ANSWER for QUITTERS and MENTAL MIDGETS....

IT's going to be PAINFUL-- but you start cutting the cancers out and installing kids who are hungry to play and win -- who pay attention and work hard in practice.
I tend to agree with this. I remember we had a culture problem in the mid-80's when we had a huge issue with taunting. This brought a lot of national attention to the program; much of it negative. Jimmy Johnson acknowledged it. He agreed that it had to stop. He also said it could not be stopped "overnight."

The two situations are not the same, but I think there is a culture problem on the team, and it might take some time to fix it. In some cases, it might require the exit of certain players from the program. One player in particular who has completely shattered confidence is D.J. Ivey. He just stood there totally unaware of what was happening around him. He seemed as though he was in a different world. Entirely out of it. If I were a coach, I would never feel he could be relied on--ever.

SoFla still producing talent. Broward had more first rounders than any state alone last year. We aren't getting the truly elite ones and we aren't developing the ones we do get.

Y'all need to ask what would Butch Davis do with JT?
Let him go along time ago.and sent a few others with him.one thing I can assure you jj and butch won't kiss a head cases behind they'll give them a road map out of town.

HOLY SHT WHAT A REVALUTIONARY IDEA!!! IF ONLY SOMEBODY HAD SAID THIS EVERY OTHER TIME WE HIRED A COACH!!!!!11!1

Difference between players today and back in the eighties and nineties is today kids expect immediate results and when it doesn't happen they get disinterested real fast.then players took their lumps did what they had to do to make themselves better.kids today have no patience nor a clue on the dedication needed to go fro m a good player to a great one.

You're an idiot. You have no idea what Davis or any former coach would do..

It's easy for anyone to see who the idiot is here.

What was posted.."Y'all need to ask what would Butch Davis do with JT?"..that is a statement requesting opinions on an opinion board.

On opinion boards, people give their opinions....I gave my opinion on what Davis would do.

I don't deal with people who can only express their disagreement with name calling. So I'll put you on ignore. You clearly have serious anger issues or bad things going on in your life that you need to resolve.

So in the future, try not to get your panties in a wad
panties.webp

"There is NO COACHING ANSWER for QUITTERS and MENTAL MIDGETS...."

How come this only happens here?
How come we don't see many quitters and mental midgets on other teams? Are we that unlucky? Or our coaches can't recruit and develop good players?
and how do the "quitters" here suddenly emerge when the corches are hired? how come these same "quitters" go on to do well at the next level? it is a must we get to the bottom of this!!!

Lol the season is over why do ppl care what players are suspended anyway this season??

Jeff Thomas barely got the ball when he was on the field... Miami ruined his cfb career just like how many other talented WRs that decided to come here over the last 15 years??
Disagree with this completely. JT4 has been returning kicks and got significant targets when N'Kosi started playing. Jeff Thomas is the only person holding Jeff Thomas back. He needs to realize...and fast...that you usually only get one shot to make it to the NFL. He is blowing that opportunity through having a poor attitude, violating team rules, not working hard enough and not being a good teammate.

I hope Jeff will wake up soon and realize that he alone has made significant mistakes. He can really excel at football and in life but he has to change his attitude and approach completely. He needs to work hard, abide by team rules, be a leader on the field and be a good teammate.

He can still leave Miami as a winner and a tremendous prospect for the NFL, if he puts the past behind and makes a commitment to doing things the right way going forward. I hope for his sake he will make much better decisions going forward.

IMO the issue with all the previous coaches is that they are what would be considered players coaches. And in order to truly change the philosophy you need a disciplinarian coach. Sure there are players coaches that have success. But the disciplinary ones seem to have more consistent success. And to kill the ME mentality we have on this team, your gonna need an elite disciplinarian style head coach.
Every coach we have had would be considered a players coach.

That is a massive oversimplification. The reason those teams don't have the "disease" is that they have a 4-5 star backing up a 4-5 star at a majority of their positions.

Any player who tries to be a diva has another one right behind him who's just as talented, or more, and hungry AF to get on the field. We dont and havent had that.

Look at the recruiting rankings for the last four years for the rest of your list. Aside from Clemson, which is a unique animal in college football right now, NO team is sniffing the playoff or even regular season dominance year in and out without OVERWHELMING talent.
