If you have Tim Tebow back there I get it, anyone else wedge it w the QIt edges out standing in the shotgun when you need less than a yard

I agree. I was wrong about him.Carter Davis has been the biggest surprise on the team. Dude went from making 36% of his kicks over 3 years, to being reliable.
It's such a drastic improvement that I'm still nervous every time he attempts a FG. It's like my brain can't accept that such a 180 for a K is even possible.
I don’t know if we have a Special Teams room
But if we do I’d bet one day Mario knocked on the door, poked his head inside, and said “hey guys what do you think about having the OL block on returns?”
Those Latinas gave him some confidence!Carter Davis has been the biggest surprise on the team. Dude went from making 36% of his kicks over 3 years, to being reliable.

You clearly haven’t watched much UM football over the past few seasons. We’re not allowed to get safeties.Just down inside the 5 so our DL can get a safety
FAU must’ve had the worst snap-hold mechanics ever. How was Carter Davis 4-11 last year?
He’s not very brightDay was standing further in the endzone than our LB's vs GA. Tech on the goal line with D'Onofrio.
Agree on all points especially the 1st! Day has lagway level awareness. That **** was crazy. But Davis & Mali have been a revelation. Also add the better tackling overall this year has helped as well. The bad:
There is not a single play in the game of football that ****es me off more than punting in the opponents territory and getting a touchback. Nothing. It does things to my brain that I can’t say out loud. We did it twice.
The good:
I truly hope Carter Davis had the post game “celebration” he deserves. Another clutch kick when we threatened to shoot ourselves in the foot. Touchbacks on kicks are a blessing. We had good coverage on the one that wasn’t
Malachi is just a matter of time before he houses one. He will probably have multiple punt return TDs this year before it’s over
All in all I’d say the group is doing pretty well. Had Day (I think it was Day) stopped that punt at the 1 you could probably give this group a really good grade last night
I’m sure the coverage improvements have something to do with better depth. Makes sense that just having better football players out there would help but I’ve not really looked at the personnel on the fieldAgree on all points especially the 1st! Lost track of the ball twice . He has to be better
