bro just go 4 wide and still run your duo sh*t but bringing in tes and moving hbacks in motion an all the dumb sh*t bringing in more defenders is asinine and clearly marios an mirabal's sh*t cause he ran this same sh*t at oregon everytime i watch them which kept teams in games with them.

I watch him get beat by a depleted *** oregon state team with wayyyyyy less talent doing the same exact sh*t.

At the end of the game.....Even if they called a qb **** draw i wouldnt have been mad because voila....that wouldnt have been expected. A rb slip screen or shovel......Nope...lets send elijah lofton on a 3 yard flat route being ultra conservative...so conservative that the lb had a dead beat on it...had he caught it freely he was going for 2 yards. It was nauseating...i rather you threw a **** pick throwing something towards the end zone. Please believe that play was drew up for Beck to throw there because he didnt look any where else and daniels was basically running a clear out type of long developing route

yeah I agree. Said so literally right when the game ended.

The blitzing was perplexing. It was clear their gameplan was to get the ball out immediately from the jump, so all we did was lose the numbers game when we brought more than 4.

And then of course we drop Mesidor into coverage on a 3rd down when it was clear before the play he should’ve been taken out.

We don’t have LBs who go side to side. We also don’t have LBs who cover well in space. We’re lucky teams try to get the ball out so quickly they don’t get the chance to isolate more, but it’s likely coming.

We ran the same offense last year and were one of the best rushing teams in the country. ****, even my Mom knows that Mario has always run duo.

I am not saying a little variety wouldn't help. It absolutely would. But you are just gonna give the OL a pass?

We ran the ball just fine against ND and UF and they are supposed to have better fronts than Louisville.

Coaching staff deserves blame, but we cannot pretend like all of us didn't expect to run the ball at will against these guys.

Respectfully, you are seeing him "push" the ball downfield and mistaking that for aggression. It's not aggression. It's Beck giving up and sticking with a 1st read that isn't there because he knows nothing good will come from getting off the first read. Similar reason he tucked and ran straight into a tackler on at least 2 3rd down plays that he had 0.0% chance of rushing for a first down.

It's quitting without technically quitting. And he was doing it all night.

Other than Lane Kiffin Mario Cristobal aint never been around any offensize wizzes in his whole career. Unless you want to count Doug Nussmeiyer or whatever his name is.

He clearly has none of Lanes offense. Dawson may be the best oc hes had around him.

Dawson aint bad hes a solid oc...but the run game variance is clearly dictated by the columbus mafia and will be done so whomever is the oc

watch the plays on most of the time them second reads arent open. so i get it and one of his picks was a 4th down throw up cause Mccoy got his *** beat but looking at the play those wrs werent looking open either.

This is one of the only offense you wil seldom see just flat out one on one jump ball situations. When do you really see that with our o?.

That's why I don't understand why we don't see Pruitt more. Toure and to a lesser extent Bissainthe are just lost in coverage. It's the weakness of the D imo.

I understand your point and I'm not arguing against it. It makes sense.

But that first deep ball to Toney wasn't that imo…That was nothing but knowing where you want to go pre-snap and then forcing it even though it isn't open.

In the first half, Beck's 2 INTs and the two PF penalties on offense were killers. Gave them a short field once that they turned into 7 points. We scored on the 2 remaining first half drives when our players didn't do dumb ****. In the second half, Lofton didn't block his guy when we were trying to run the first Toney trick play pass, then Samson's false start turned a 3rd/4th and short that we would have converted into a 3rd and long that we didn't. Lofton apparently running the wrong route on the final INT not great either.

I wasn't pleased with how Dawson called the run game this week, but our offensive players did a bunch of dumb **** in this game too that cost us many more points than running too many HB dives did.

Agree with you that folks are being to harsh on Dawson. We are extremely limited this year in passing the ball downfield, because we have one guy on the entire team who can get open and do anything with the ball after he catches it (and he should be in HS still). Yet we still have guys open in the flats on pretty much every replay of a Beck INT/bad decision I have seen. Our QB should just throw the ball to those guys instead of the guys on the other team.

This is what I expect from Mario himself. We ran the same duo and general scheme last year against different opponents with the most dynamic QB in the nation who repeatedly got us out of holes. Why do we insist on it when the opponent is clearly selling out to stop it? I personally didn’t expect to run the ball at will just because Louisville’s front had struggled earlier in the year. They sold out and Beck panicked instead of made them pay. Factors are different.
 
Why we go after all these legit pass catching threat TEs and ask them to block all game? You mean to tell me no TE on this roster cannot fill the role of Arroyo in this pass game? Tony Johnson lead Cincy in tds last season and can’t get on the field now? We can’t throw Moore one of those deep balls or a fade in the red zone? Carr one of the fastest players on the team can’t get on the field to just run a go route? We can’t run outside the tackles? We legit have a two receiver pass game with decoys. Stuff like this catches up to you when the films gets out on you.
