‘26 QB Dereon Coleman commits to Miami

I have to agree I think Nickel is the more polished QB. But the college game is always strange and some players just adapt better. So who knows what ends up happening but my money is on Nickel.
No doubt. I was being somewhat antagonistic about it on purpose but I do think Nickel is the better prospect anyway and he will have been in the system longer

But I love Coleman’s potential and wouldn’t be shocked if he took the job either

***** wild how people are just dismissing Luke like that kid ain't a ****** problem or at least has a **** good chance to be. Why wouldn't we want both of them to be pressure for opposing teams. VERY different skill sets and both capable of winning at a high level with the talent we're bringing in.
Nothing on CIS surprises me anymore. I think I read this morning that one of our posters said he didn't like Scott as a DT. LOL

I know for a fact that they love what they saw from Luke especially as the spring closed out. Luke is going to be really good and I'm hoping Coleman comes in and gives him some competition.

I am a big fan of Nickel's. But he improved dramatically between his junior and senior season. So it's not apples-to-apples. I think Coleman is going to have a similar improvement from an already high base this coming season.

Those two will be the reason we won't "need" to land a top 5 transfer QB next season which is what we've done these past two off seasons. Don't get me wrong, I still think we do. But could be the last portal QB for 3 years after that.
