If we hire a terrible pitching coach from a multi time failed staff, then it’s very clear UM isn’t trying to win in baseball. That would literally be the worst decision possible.

I’m waiting until the process is complete. However, if this ends with JD being named head coach, it is a complete and total failure from Radakovich. No other way around it. I’m praying that isn’t the case.

We didn’t hire Dan Radakovich to promote a terrible, lazy pitching coach to HC. At least I hope lol.

If they hire JD, I hope everyone quits and all the former players can sit in the stadium and watch the games by themselves. It would be a total disgrace to hire him.

I think everyone is fearful of the “Former Cane” influence which is probably all in on JD even though he can’t coach at all. I’m concerned until we hire someone else personally.

I don’t believe he’s ever coached pitching but that didn’t stop JD from getting hired to that spot 22 years ago lol.

At least we have a real AD in charge. Whatever the outcome, I’m confident we will have a good HC.

Football decided after Coker/Shannon to “do the opposite” and only consider prior HC’s. That got us Al Golden. He sucked too. Point being, experience matters, but you have to also look at the entire picture. I think Tulowitzki checks a bunch of boxes which overrides his lack of HC experience.

I don’t agree in terms of first time HC. Our football didn’t fall off because they hired first time coaches. They hired bad coaches who couldn’t lead a high level program. Butch Davis was a first time HC and he didn’t pretty good despite starting off in a highly difficult situation. Kevin...

I really thought that was an area Gino would improve but it never happened. The overall intensity level in this program just hasn’t been there in a long time.

Anybody know why Tulowitzki stopped coaching at Texas?

The upside on him would be really high in my opinion.
