He's standing in front of everyone.

Especially doing it two years in a row. Not saying it can't happen, but if that is our preseason expectation, we're likely setting ourselves up for disappointment.

    A Look At 2024

Predicting deep runs into the tourney is setting ourselves up for disappointment. The tourney is partially a crap shoot. Let's focus on having another very good regular season (top 3 or 4 ACC team), and the rest will take care of itself.

    Nwoko will absolutely play.

Watson is huge. George is super smooth

Looks like he’s bulking up a bit. Still had the frame to add more size.

Honestly we don't know what to expect from Jakai. He's been here for 2 seasons and has never played a meaningful minute.

Bump The roster as of today: Pack/Joseph Wooga/Robinson Watson Casey Omier/Nwoko 5 open scholarships, but only 2 starting spots are open (Pack, Wooga, and Omier are obviously automatic starters). The 3 and 4 spots are up for grabs (or 2 and 4 if we decide to slide Wooga to the 3). Updated...

Walker has been here 4 years. I highly doubt the light will suddenly click in year 5. He just has no feel for the game, and other than dunking, he has no real basketball skills.

I like Beverly a lot. I just don’t see him having the quickness to be a full time starter in the ACC. I like him coming off the bench giving us ~15 minutes a game,

I’m not saying we need to pivot to the duke or UNC model. That will never be realistic for us. But Miami should be able to recruit a couple of instant impact freshmen in each class. It hurts depth when 1/3 or 1/4 or the roster is unplayable and just not ready to contribute as we saw with...

No one said he can’t recruit. But given back to back elite 8’s and final 4’s, I believe there’s room to take it to the next level.

He looks very impressive on film. But so did Casey and Aire coming out of HS, and neither was able to contribute much at all as freshmen. I hope Nwoko is able to defy the trend.

Agreed with all except I wouldn’t mind Beverly coming back.

    A Look At 2024

I don’t know if we necessarily need a starting center, but at minimum we need a rim protecting big who can come off the bench and eat up quality minutes by rebounding, defending the paint, and chipping in with some easy inside baskets. We didn’t have that this year. When Omier had to come out...

    A Look At 2024

Miller is obviously gone. I think Wong leaves too. We need a rim protecting center who can crash the glass and be a presence in the paint, and then I’d use the other spot on a ball handling guard or an athletic wing,
