    COACHING FIRINGS

T-Rob as DB coach would be a strong hire. But, it can't hurt our CB recruiting cuz we at rock bottom...if you sign zero CBs you cant do any worse the following year. We playing chess not checkers...

    COACHING FIRINGS

Sounds like it. There's lots not to like about Manny but not naming Simpson the DC isn't one of them (and I'm a big fan of Simpson and his work with the DL). Richt, who hired Jess, named Patke and Banda as Co-DCs, that had nothing to do with Manny cuz Manny had already accepted the Temple gig...

    COACHING FIRINGS

It's about culture. Mario is not a great game day coach and he isnt going to out smart the opponent but his teams play with passion and display toughness. That stems from the head coach and the culture he establishes within the program.

Say no to T-Rob as DC or Co-DC. If he wants to coach the secondary then so be it.

    COACHING FIRINGS

We dont need a splashy big name hire. We need somebody who can develop players and implement an aggressive scheme that doesnt completly disregard gap integrity. Give me somebody from the Gary Patterson coaching tree or an assistant from the NFL like Winston Moss. The DC doesnt have to be a...
