    2024 Drelon Miller

Always felt Miller was as elite as it gets in this WR class. If we're truly trending down with Smith after seeing Wingo commit to Texas, I'd love to see us try to make a serious run at Miller if it's at all possible to make up ground here. Tremendous talent.

Miller is a 5* talent, IMO, and his senior season has only solidified my stance on that.

    2024 Drelon Miller

Miller is as elite as it gets at WR. Hands catcher, RAC monster, speed, and threatens defenses at every level of the field. The first play in this highlight is just utterly absurd.

    2024 Drelon Miller

When he was first brought up in this thread, Bennett was referred to as a postal worker. So, yeah, calling him a game manager is selling him short but so was the initial reference to him in this thread that was used as a rebuttal to the importance of landing a premier QB recruit at least once in...

    The foundation of UGA's squad the last two years when they had Stetson Bennett starting was based on this: 2019 (2nd overall class with 9 players in the Top 100) - 5 5*'s, 16 4*'s, 3 3*'s 2020 (1st overall class with 11 players in the Top 100) - 4 5*'s, 15 4*'s, 6 3*'s Nine 5* commits in a...

Completely agree. If a rival only landed one mid-3* QB in back-to-back years, they'd be dismissed as an unserious program and countless posters would be flooding Nole Tears or Gator Tears gloating with schadenfreude at their expense. Maybe it's the nature of fandom for certain people, but some...

    2024 Drelon Miller

If Trader is truly a 5* WR instead of a 5* ATH whose best position is DB, I really want to see him show out this season just as much as Jeremiah Smith does in the same exact offense. If there's a drastic disparity between the two, that'll be very telling.

I've been on the concerned end of some well-intentioned, spirited debate about QB recruiting in part because that was my biggest concern with Mario when he was hired. He landed higher-rated QB's at Oregon and the evals there were terrible. But I also don't look at QB recruiting in a vacuum like...

    2024 Drelon Miller

Miller would have been worth every penny of a top-tier NIL offer. Maybe we were willing to spend as much as USC or A&M, but it wasn't enough in the end. All I know is Miller is a premier, game-changing WR1. Assuming Wingo is just as much of a pipe dream as Miller, that leaves us in a position...

    2024 Drelon Miller

If USC lands Miller, that'll be their third Top 100 overall player they will have landed at WR in this class. They just landed Pellum and they already landed high 4* WR Xavier Jordan last month. Miller is 100% deserving of a top-tier bag. Whatever it takes, he'd be worth it for us.

That's disappointing to hear. Miller is elite and landing him would've been enormous for WR recruiting as a whole.

Riley’s track record with receivers is excellent and he also has the best reputation with QB’s of any coach in the country, which obviously has a big impact on recruiting wideouts as well. And as much as some may not like it, he can add Jordan Addison being a first rounder to the list of names...

Exactly. Trader is a much more explosive weapon than his usage at Chaminade would seem to indicate, but it's not like Miller is just running 9 routes. He's routinely making the first defender(s) miss on slants, WR screens, and hitches before exploding past everyone and making house calls as well...

I agree. Wasn't throwing out the numbers to overemphasize HS production, but felt the drastic disparity in yards/YPC/TD's given their similar reception totals was at least worth mentioning as one of many reference points comparing the two. Miller's highlights show a different level of YAC and...

    2024 Drelon Miller

With far more impressive junior highlights and way better numbers. No matter where they end up signing, I personally like Miller > Trader. Miller in 2022 (receiving only): 59 catches, 1,401 yards, 23.7 YPC, 21 TD's Trader in 2022 (receiving only): 47 catches, 473 yards, 10 YPC, 7 TD's If we...

I hope we’re making Miller an even bigger priority than any of the local WR’s in this class and I’m thrilled to hear he’s taking an OV here in early June. Miller looks like the type of receiver you back the brinks truck up for. Miller Trader Hawkins Robinson That would be a tremendous haul...
