Moss just withdrew from Mater Academy expected to land at Hallandale. Hallandale is LOADED.

maybe this could help us maybe get the WR from hallandale?

Josh Hammond. Good player. Idk if he ends up here though. I k is a lot of people are really high on him, personally I'm not. I wouldn't complain if he committed bc I think he's really good, but I'd definitely take some guys before him

Zack Moss reminds me of Mike James. The work ethic mentions were aplenty with him in HS too, and so were the fullback mentions as far as what he would be collegiately.

I'm willing to be patient here and let the kid develop. If he bulks up and becomes a good FB that can catch the ball a little here & there, great. If he develops a little more feel as a runner and becomes a solid HB ala James, that will be awesome too.

Staff seems to always want a "Pat Hill/Maurice Hagens" type on the team. That's one thing we def don't have this year. I agree it was early to take this kid but ****, if he doesn't pan out, we all know what will happen to him anyway.

Walter Tucker is simliar to them, not as big.

You wanna know what's scary?

Our FB Walter Tucker is faster than all of our other RBs...

Let that sink in.

Golden has whiffed on all the RBs with elite speed the last 3 years.

Need to bring in CFA this cycle.

If the plan is to take Zack Moss as a Power back/FB and still go all out for CFA and keep Burnett(ATH[DB/RB]) and Rasul then I'm all for it.

I just don't want to be scaring off elite RBs like CFA with a crowded RB commit list.

McGahee was also faster than Portis and Gore when he played FB as their backup.
Najeh was faster than Edge and Jackson when he played FB as well.

Speed is great for a RB but it's not everything. Duke was not a blazer but I would take him over most 4.3 guys all day.

There are internet rumors that 2016 RB/FB commit Zack Moss is transferring schools. According to the internet rumormill Zack Moss is most likely headed to Hallandale HS, in hopes of raising his recruiting profile inorder to get more offers. Some have brought up a very good point of if he has already has a spot in the Miami Class than why the drastic need to raise his recruiting profile?

The thing is I thought he player quality competition at his current high school considering they play 7A ball, so something is a miss here, but lets see how things shake out.

He already is at Hallandale. Starting today.

I'll still stand by what I said that I like him as a FB/HB type and for use in short yardage and red zone but not as a pure RB. He's a good option for the passing game too out of the backfield though as I've mentioned before.

Might change my tune if he develops more as a senior at Hallandale.

I've said it before, but Najeh was gonna be that DUDE before the injury. He was a freak. Lot of people forget that.

He's also supposed to be visiting Alabama this weekend for their spring game

ALL the people will be complaining had this kid reached a 4th star and commited to Florida.. ppl would yell "how come he left miami? Wheres that fence?" , its called INVESTING in kids, Ed Reed was a 2star player, this kid's progress will be steady, im confident

The ole "Ed Reed" scenario. Lmao

Here's a comeback to that. "Butch Davis was the best at developing talent." And we all know who isn't.

Talent development is not a problem with this Staff

doubt he transferred for a recruiting profile, he probably just wants to compete for a state championship which he would never accomplish at mater. hallandale is the only team i could see taking on miami central in 6A.

His old school played STA in the Qtr Finals last year, so he was competing for a Championship in 7A. An his team plays an extremely competitive schedule as well, so I am guessing they lost a lot of talent so he transferred to a team with better returning talent.
