I had this argument with an OSU alum/booster this weekend. It’s funny how these fanbases think their program isn’t paying. Like OSU didn’t have a top 3 paid roster last season. His excuse was “we don’t pay HS kids, we pay proven players.” Well that’s also bs. Maybe kids would rather make equal $ and live in South Florida. Or maybe our HC has always been a top recruiter that also has the ability to offer $ now. People are dumb.

Kupp was 6'2 and 205 at the combine, and he ran 4.62.
This kid could run a potato sack race faster than Kupp.
Kupp has been who he is in the league due to his route running and strength, both of which are incredible. And his strong hands. He's an elite technician, and an expert at his craft.
This kid is an ELITE athlete. Cooper Kupp is not. They're both white, that's where that **** ends. This dude is more Desean Jackson than Cooper Kupp.

Based on how he got in and out of his breaks, I like the Sammy Watkins comp. West Coast wise, Robert Woods but I like the Sammy comp more. Don’t think as good as Sammy but similar.

Edelman and Welker were both zippy slot guys that could get open in small spaces. Kupp (and Spafford I believe) bring a deep threat that I don’t think the previous two did.
