Willie Bailey transferring from UF; Miami interested

Class of 2012 DB Willie Bailey (Hallandale) has been granted a release from UF. Bailey has contacted Miami and there is mutual interest.

The 6'1", 175 pound DB was an early Miami commitment in 2011 before switching to UF in April 2011.

Wasn't a Bailey fan coming out. Him being buried at UF only confirms what I previously thought. As with Sticks McCartney, I just don't see the logic in taking a mediocre transfer unless it is a position of immediate need. WR and DB are not positions of immediate need right now.

Apparently the only issue with Bailey is his size. Kid can cover with the best of them but is too small to put out there to tackle SEC RB's. With another year or two he can be a very good college DB.

Mike Bakas said he wanted back in last time around but we didn't have room then and were going on all in on Tracy Howard and deon bush. If thats true, What has changed? If its not true, I think it would have been if he tried coming back to us on NSD.

finnie is about to be sent to BOLIVIA...and some guys might flame out after spring at other spots.

He can find someplace else to play, he shouldn't have de-committed in the first place if he wanted to play at Miami.

Also Vernon Davis transferred.

We still have enough talent at CB to not take him. We are also in on Robinson, and have Burns ready to come in for minutes.

after he signed with UF this is the first time I have heard his name since.

UF is loaded in the secondary. Was probably never gonna see the field. Plus VH3, Marcel Harris and possibly Mack so he probably would have been on scout team his whole career.
