Welcome to the new version of CanesInSight!

Today we moved CanesInSight from the outdate vBulletin 4 platform to the modern Xenforo 2. We know the new site is going to take some time to get used to, but we are confident the added features well make it worth it.

The number one goal of the new version was to make it easier for fans to interact. Our previous platform was outdated and not suited for browsing on the many different mobile devices that exist today. The new version of CanesInSight is responsive and will work on whatever size screen you have.

We also wanted a website that was faster, and supported modern standards. Our previous platform was slow, clunky and no longer in development. Xenforo 2 is a brand forum software, with active developers, and supports modern standards. Over the next few weeks we will make changes to our server configuration to full advantage of the new capabilities.

Thanks for response. Another one I have is that you can't see the 'live' statistics for how many people are in a forum. It was useful for me because you could tell when something big was happening based on the amount of users logged in. It's a minor comment, I'm sure you're swamped with everything else.

2 - inside a thread, you used to be able to flip pages both at the top and bottom. Now, you have to go to bottom. Sometimes you know you’re shooting straight to the last page but it make you scroll all the way down for that
3- you cant see a posters post count and account start date directly in the thread. We used to use this to point out trolls .
4- spell check is not working on iPhone . We have enough dudes spelling **** wrong as it is.

That’s it for now. I guess put me in the group that says “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”. Maybe you can have a Canesinsight Classic mode.. and give users an option to go back?

Im old compared to you youngIns and Probably just need to get used too. However to this point I’m not a fan of the set up. Just looks weird. I would like the old Look while getting the technology u need to make it grow. Just my opinion

the old forum you can put the cursor over the thread and see a preview of the original post. I used that feature alot and i dont think this one has

Overall functionally it works very well and the look to me it's not that big of a difference so good job. The only thing that would make my life more enjoyable that's what we're talking about is making my life more enjoyable. Is if there's a way to have a date of when the post was started on front page.

Tapatalk has numerous bugs with our forum software, and they also have ads as well. Tapatalk doesn't provide anything that our site

If you put your mouse of the thread title it will show a preview. I think the difference is the previous version would show a preview if you put it over the row.

Too many ads in the middle of the thread. I don’t pay $9 a month to see ads!
