Video from Scrimmage #2

Scott looked great out there. Mike James is huge.

Tremendous props to the person who took that video. It's a godsend for those of us who couldn't make it.

Gotta love how decisive Kirby was on some of those reads. His 37-inch vertical jump is no accident, he's got some burst. And it's nice to see the young QBs improve. They look worlds better than they did in Hialeah.

No problem. I know the real 'Canes junkies need the good stuff.

Great video 3G. Those shots looked close to where I was sitting.

Wish all the incoming FR could have played would love to have seen them in action early. But there is a lot of upside to the team. We are young yes but we have a championship building I can feel it. I know we all want to win now but remember this Rome was not built in 1 day nor 1 year... day by day month by month year by year. I see us after sanctions doing BIG things in 2 to 3 years. Once Al puts all his kids in from top to bottom SR to RS FR. Then the team will take on his character and WIN. We will win big, (style points) the days of 56-10, those are the ways we need to win. Guys like Kirby, Flowers, Crow, Hope and just maybe Hoilett wont be redshirted. They had a head start and thats good for them. Dewey may be redshirted though, even Thompson when he comes in. But the Video was great, had good quality and i saw everything clearly, please (3G Cane) just please film the April 14th Spring game for us. I am in the Military and cant attend at the moment. Would love to see the whole game though... Thanx by the way!

The thing that stuck out at me was how soft of a ball Ryan Williams throws. Good accuracy and release tho.

2 to 3 years after the sanctions are dealt or 2 to 3 years from now? Golden is clearly pointing the team in the right direction, but we were so depleted it will take some time to get where we want to be. My concern is that just as he is getting this team where it needs to be, the sanctions will hit and the rebuild will have to start over or at the very least be delayed. This is of course assuming we get hit with serious sanctions and of course the seriousness of the sanctions will decide if it's a speed bump or a brick wall.

This may be obvious, but the 2012 class is huge for Golden's Miami career. If the 2012 kids like Howard, McCord, Lewis, Hope, Kirby, Duke, Flowers, Gadbois give solid contributions and make some noise... 2013 is going to be a great season for the Canes. There will be a lot of playmakers returning on both sides of the ball.

I'm more excited about seeing a new crop of Canes than worried about a 3-6 win season (anything above that and I'm happy). Miami needed a change - I needed a change. I think the "make up" of the defense is far different than we've seen in 4 years, including last year, in terms of aggression, tackling, speed. Especially tackling. What was everyone saying about the defense the last 2 years? Poor tackling, missed tackles, soft. Not hearing anything about that through 2 scrimmages. I don't think Miami has enough weapons on offense to keep up with the better teams this year, but I think this team will play hard, play sound, and will probably pull out a signature win here or there, won't play down to Duke and Virginia.

We shall see.

right now, we would not be "playing down" to UVA unfortunately. we are right on par with them

Hopefully the team doesn't share that mentality.
