That’s too funny. I mean the receiver can use the 5 yard line as reference. Doesn’t even have to consult the ref. Lol poor IQ or coached by Manny?

Very tough to read. Hopefully we improve I just don’t see where we can given coaching and some personnel

That was a painful read, but super necessary

Count me as one of the guys who thought Bolden had a better game than he did. This is why I like these UFRs so much. Great stuff Lance!

I think what I question is..If Lance can come and break this stuff down (and isnt being paid to do it) and finds these weaknesses and opportunities..I have to believe our coaching staff is doing the same..And if you are seeing in film week the same guys are messing up and not doing what they are supposed to do like we see every week during UFR..Why the **** isnt the staff making changes?? I know Justice is. You can tell hes done with Donaldson and Scaife until further notice. But what about the rest of the position coaches? Smh.

And thank you for reiterating TWICE what I have said all week. This "or" crap all across the board has to stop. Its amateur. Thats the crap you do in Spring ball! Not when we are fighting week to week for our season! Best players play! Period! If you dont know who they are by now? Then you shouldnt be coaching here and should be gone! And I am a Manny defender. And yeah I said it.

And lastly, there are certain guys who should not be encouraged to come back here for a 6th year. I dont want to name names but this 6th year crap has to stop for alot of these guys. And I have a feeling we are going to get another year of potential 6th year guys wanting to hang around and Manny just has to play tough guy and tell many of them it aint happening. It aint personal. We love you as Cane fans but you gotta go.

This is so infuriating, should never happen.

Great stuff Lance, thanks for all the work you put in. This team comes across as a poorly coached undisciplined mess week after week, year after year. We'll never truly compete for anything with this guy in charge.

The teaching tape. You think Jaelan was coming at the same speed the next time? Maybe, but I bet his ribs remember and he was just a tick more aware of it the rest of the game.

Our OL simply do not pass off. Do not communicate. Do not bury dudes when they get the chance.

It’s not about just that one play, it’s about setting a tone as a bunch of *** kickers that you won’t enjoy playing.
It's crazy honestly that our Oline is always just standing around. Is it a coaching thing? Conditioning, just a mentality issue? Probably a bit of everything. I couldn't imagine playing the game of football and passing up opportunities to lay a legal blindside lick on someone.

Manny is not the receivers coach (not to say he has other issues). And if you notice the referee is right at the line of scrimmage. All the receiver needs to do is line up where the left foot of referee is standing marking the line of scrimmage.

Can't see who the receiver is. But if it is a 2nd year (or more player) that's on him. Heck, even a 1st year player should know better as the rules would be the same for high school ball, no?

Amazing work as always Lance

These are always bittersweet. We get a glaring look at things that should be correctable. Simple things often. So it gives you some hope.

But we never fix them.

Crazy how bad are our O line is, these dudes have like 200 starts and still making freshmen mistakes. It’s appalling how bad Donaldson has looked. I hope we come out and beat down Michigan State, I need a great victory this weekend I am tired of being a mope.
and we were bragging about all of this senior leadership and experience coming back, and being our strength

we've being talking about the same issues since Manny's being the coach. These breakdowns are great, but it sounds like a broke record. Bolden missed on the Bama QB on a straight line blitz, then on the next play has an interception in the end zone, and it goes through his hands. I mean its frustrating how often we don't make a game changing play.

Put Bolden closer to the LOS and let Hall play deep.

Basically switch positions.

Did you not see the 96 yarder?

We are starting two strong safeties. Teams are starting to realize it.

We need Kinchens or Balom to take the deep safety role.

Lance, thank you for the amazing breakdown, I look forward to this every week. Aside from what seems like worse OL play from last year, do you think the offense is missing Brevin?

Thats one play by Hall.

Bolden messes up coverage wise several times.
