I don't have the answer to that. But Shalala did get involved in these type of things (and more), that's why people held her more accountable for these things.

I mean just out of curiosity who was his academic advisor? I mean if your looking to be an EE in college you'd think everyone would make sure the I's are dotted and the T's crossed. They're would be no f*ck ups

I seriously doubt Frenk gets involved in any way with this, that's not his role. There is absolutely nothing he could add or help with, that can't be done by the athletic department.

That's just not how these things work.

CEO's delegate minor stuff like this. They're not doing their job if they get caught in the weeds with this nitty gritty stuff.

I'm sure Frenk would be amenable to having recruits paraded in front of him for a quick hello, but that's about it.

He's got much bigger fish to fry in his role as university president. His role with football should be, and I'm sure is, setting standards for results and evaluating, on a top down basis, every year or so.

No just speaking in general like these people are suppose to make sure things like this don't happen but would jive with what Pete source said that people in his camp were upset with how things were handled
