Definitely does not warrant a BOOM!!!. My questions are, does he have a bad attitude towards the man in front of him and the QB?, does he want to hurt the RB when he hits him?, does he have that DOG in him? That's the ish you can't teach, you know. I am sure Kool can coach him, but I want the guy that looks in the eyes at the guy in front of him and says, "I ain't scared of you, B-I-T-C-H" and tears his head off.

I think the DT from Dillard has a much better tape. Looks to be more explosive with more knee-bend. (better offer list as well)
I will say one thing though. It can be harder to evaluate this kid's film because he's playing DE in a 3-4. He's not in a 3-technique getting upfield. He might be a totally different animal in that roll.

I liked the video of the Dillard DT as well. Hopefully, someone asks Coach Kool at the Wed presser why they didn't take Thompson or if he didn't want to come.

b/c D.J. Durkin is their head coach... he grabbed the CB from Atlantic too.. Durkin's going to be coming down here... hes got 6 guys from FLA committed right now.. Wont be able to get any top guys at Maryland but hes going to grab some good ones.

Just to clarify, I was told it had something to do with transcripts. Thompson is considering South Carolina now too along with Maryland.
Kool expressed interest but no offer came about.
Oh and as for the OP. He's talking about me. I reported yesterday on Twitter that Martin committed when Richt gave the bat signal. He made it official today.

Im going to take that as a huge positive... He could be a straight beast if we put good weight on him and muscle bc he has a great frame to fill out... thanks for saying it first bc my words on what he looks like physically might of come out a little harsher.
The Thompson thing doesn't make much sense given our need at that position, Kool recruiting him at Missouri and Thompson's skill level. Let's see if he qualifies at a P5 school and how he holds up eligibility-wise.
