sounds like they will move him inside. look this year is a last minute class, if he is a formidable back up, I'm fine with that.

Maybe we could do better here, but, given the short time the staff has had to work, ill take it. I'm tired of giving passes, but, for this staff they can have a pass this year. I expect different results with a full year of recruiting ahead of them.

You can always do better. Fact of the matter is there isnt many quality Dt's in this class interested in playing for miami after watching the last 5 years.

This is still a DT with multiple P5 offers, that's a way better "reach" then we've resorted too in the recent past at the position.

We passed on a good DT at Ft Lauderdale Dillard. Kid waited for UM...no offer...finally chose Maryand

Anyways I will give koool pass with a guy or 2.

If you look at it like Will Muschamp and Craig Kuligowski went head-to-head over the same kid from two different locations it aids the digestion.

Kool offered Thompson and Martin at Missouri

Theres NO reason to believe we passed on Thompson. You're just throwing **** against the wall and saying anything you can to down play and criticize the efforts of the staff.


Could we have done better than Martin? Sure. But with less than a month on the job for the staff (all were hired during dead period),its pretty apparent that Kool likes this kid and did a good job getting him.

I understand not being thrilled about martin but yesterday we landed a top dt nationally in Jon ford so I wouldn't stress too much
