Trio of Miami coaches expected at Southridge-Deerfield Beach

The Miami Hurricanes will have three assistant coaches at the 8A state semifinal game between Southridge and Deerfield Beach this Friday. Southridge offensive coordinator David Cooney told CanesInSight that Manny Diaz, Ron Dugans, and Ephraim Banda are all expected to be at their game on Friday.

Southridge prospects that Miami is after include commits Billy Gibson and Dee Wiggins (2018), as well as 2017 safety target Antwan Collier, who could be close to receiving an offer from the Hurricanes.

Sources also told CanesInSight that Miami's pursuit of Deerfield Beach star Jerry Jeudy is still ongoing. Jeudy is an Alabama commit but Canes coaches have remained in contact with him through his commitment.

I might be at this game.

Deerfield has a ton of talent... they have a big jr linebacker #42 who is about 6'1-225.

Deerfield has maybe 4 div 1 wr's so ...Southridge will be tested.

My co worker son anchors deefield's secondary and is a good one in the class of 2017 as well

Deerfield has a bunch of 2018 prospects, CB's Cornelius Doe & Demetrius Palmer, LB's Kenny Bastida & Rosendo Louis...
They also got a couple 2019 kids that will be good down the line, CB's Keyon Martin & Dashaun Davis...

Billy Gibson was talking about the challenge of facing Jeudy & that WR corp on that Marrero article...
He basically said, they're not worried because they face Pope, Dee Wiggins & Jordan Dillard in practice every day.

It will still be a great matchup though, because It's not just Jeudy they have to deal with, Daewood Davis is an underrated kid imo, but he's a good WR too.

Foreal if we pull him that means we up....reason being he watched bamas dominance and grew up during that time and he's right with Ridley. If we change his mind no recruit is safe imo....this right here would be an elite pull just because Bama has him n always had. This kid is legit man him Richards Harley forget about it
