Lol at this guy talking about only giving up X amount of points for the last few halfs.

Perfect example of the devolution of this program and fanbase.

I agree, im telling yall its the offense more than the defense, we left so many points on the field its unreal we should have blown them out, we only got TDs because kaaya is great, we barely run exotic route combos and when we do someone ***ks up, we need a offensive head coach

Golden is such a piece of **** has juwon young collecting dust God knows who else he has there

He stood out last week also against FSU. The way he was attacking gaps and playing down field stood out. I was like dam, who is this.

D money was correct with him needed to learn the system more because he was lost more times then you would like. But he sure finds the football

We can't run the ball and we can't stop the run, real recipe for long term success

he played 3 plays against fsu......
However I thought he was very impressive in the Cincinnati game.

He's physically impressive as well he has the size and speed to cover a lot of space

Yeah outside of grace he probably is the fastest linebacker we got. I think he is more instinctive than grace though tbh. He played running back in high school as well. He has potential to be very good. This is another lesson for people to stop calling guys jags so early in their careers. On this site alone we have heard people call chad Thomas, juwon young, aqm, stacy coley, brady, njoku and trent harris jag... But guess what each of those players have emerged and are playing very well. One thing I can say that 2014 class had an abundance of talent in it. Miami has a young team and should have an elite defense with a better coach next year. Every impactful dlineman we have outside of huertelu are sophmores and under...

The system has obviously been the problem. Defensive players need to play fast and instinctive while still understanding their responsibilities. Not be some **** robots in a system that these losers feel can interchange players and get the same results i.e. Bush and Crawford. These guys are beyond insane at this point.

These coaches chose the wrong profession they should've been part of a ****** pit crew they love swapping crap around for no reason every part of the defense gets swapped on every ******* play ***** ridiculous

Coley's play calling is a disaster. Why isn't Stacy in on 3rd down? Why don't we use Ndjoku more? ON and ON and ON.......WAKE UP!

we won the turnover battle 4-0 against a team with no talent and we had a 3 point lead woth 3 minutes left...Think about that

When one sentence sums everything up perfectly.

They gave us the football game with turnovers and dumb penalties. They had a QB who couldn't run or pass. The talent gap was startling. And we were struggling up by 3 late in the game.

^^^^^^

What?

When have we giving up 36 points

Bottom line is we came out in the 2nd half and the defense played lights out giving the offense so many chances to win the game

We scored 23 points on cincy once again we scored 23 points vs cincy....

Facts we should be undefeated

What the **** are you talking about?

didn't know the offense blew the lead in the fourth quarter and allowed 500 yards to FSU including 270 to cook

I can't stand the stupid red zone packages. I hate that Coley and Yearby come out of the game at important times. I hate that I didn't see a post pattern. The middle was always open throw the slant. As for the D, the linebackers playing 6 yards off the ball make the tackle 6 yards down the field. When they are up they make plays. There were times during the game that VT offence was set and our guys were looking at the sideline waiting for the call. Are you kidding me! Even my wife is getting tired of the same stupidity.

* I attended the game. Late in the first half when Beamer started calling those time outs, I didn't mind at all. We had 17 rushing attempts and Kaaya was averaging more than 8 yards per attempt. That's a motoring offense. Beamer played into percentages that didn't favor him nearly as much as he believed they did, and got burned by it. That late touchdown completely changed the math in the second half.

* Brewer is terrible. I also attended the game at Blacksburg last season. Hokie fans had already turned on him, despite the outing at Columbus two months earlier. By the time Miami played them, Brewer's weaknesses were already glaring and the Canes were taking full advantage. He is a turnover machine and lacks a big arm. He rolls smack into the rush. He takes senseless sacks when the team can least afford it. Other than vs. Ohio State twice he hasn't done much of anything. With the other kid, they were more dangerous. The other kid is still a work in progress. He made some poor decisions in the passing game and not the best angles or timing while keeping the ball. But you could see the potential. I was worried while he was in there but not at all once Brewer entered. The nearby Hokie fans were discouraged when Brewer entered. The other quarterback had a bit of bad luck in that Miami was more energized and wrestled jump ball situations on both sides of the ball. Otherwise that game could have unfolded differently.

* The talent gap isn't as decisive once you include interior defensive linemen. They gave us fits and Clemson will be better yet.

* That Virginia Teck kicker had the biggest leg we've faced. Line drive cannons regardless of whether it was into the wind or helping.

* Kaaya is a very impressive college quarterback in most situations. He was the major difference in the game. This season we are exploring the middle of the field aggressively in home games and when James Coley apparently feels confident. It was still ridiculous how often we resorted to tight low percentage windows on the sideline at that Cincinnati game I attended a few weeks ago. Absolutely no reason for it. They had skinny vulnerable defenders other than a couple of linemen. We allowed them to get confident and tough by refusing to run the ball out of power sets and throwing too **** many worthless sideline plays, particularly on third down.

* This game should have been more lopsided if we used the same offense as last season on the road. Duke and then Gus pounded Virginia Tech via snaps from center and basic football. We basically have no idea what we are doing with this shotgun finesse approach with a quarterback who never actually runs the ball, so don't expect big points and margin unless the opponent is truly pathetic. Shame that our quarterback improved but other than more passes over the middle our overall offensive approach is weaker. Notice how the Dolphins bloomed yesterday when they finally brainstormed to take snaps from under center half the time instead of sitting back in the shotgun all day.

* That new tight end is the personnel highlight of the season so far. So dangerous and it looks like he has some athletic arrogance. Second would be the pairing of Thomas and Muhammad off the edge, and all the potential that brings.
