The spring game was great I had fun there. Team played faster and players looked stronger. It was great to see all the fans there as well the support of the program is growing

I'm excited to see what the players will look like come fall with the new S&C over the next few months

We have an absolute budding star at qb, if all things go as planned(championships) this just might be his last year at Miami. Can't turn down being a top 5 pick, I don't know anyone who would do that.

Kaaya, I believe seems like Andrew Luck in terms of enjoying the college experience and understands the NFL isn't going away. Luck could've left after his Jr year and may had been the top pick or at least the first QB taken in the draft and a top 5 to 10 pick but came back and had a great Sr season and went number #1 in the draft.

Miami will be a contender to WIN the ACC and have a shot at the CFB Playoffs, provided BK is our QB in 2017.

I've been telling people how talented he is and he was going to be the first pick next year or at least the first QB taken since I've been on this board but they said I was crazy. I've been telling people he has a chance to be the highest rated QB to come out since Andrew Luck came out.

@DMoney do you think Zach McCloud catches a RS since we have a couple of capable guys?

I don't think so. He may be raw compared to the other two, but he's still doing well for a freshman and has four and a half months to get better. Plus, he fits the profile of a special teams killer.

@DMoney I thought the same thing. Has this been mentioned by anyone around the program or is this just speculating on your part (not flaming)? I think he would be a perfect fit if he has the balls for it.

Just speculation as far as I know (CJ Perry to FB).

DMoney: Pastor Richt referenced attrition when talking about picking up guys on the waiver wire. Any ideas on who might be on the way out? We need CB depth in the worst way.

Don’t want to guess, but it always happens.

Kayaa has stated before he wants some hardware... Some type of championship. I think if this team is hitting on all cylinders for 2017 he would have to make a tough choice but would come back.

It’s way premature, but I tend to agree. Kaaya has financial stability at home and likes college. Many of the guys he looks up to in the pros—including his closest style comparison, Peyton Manning—stayed four years. He is getting pro-style coaching and continuing to develop his body for the league.

Most of the guys whose stock “dropped” as seniors probably would have been exposed in the pre-draft process. Their issues were physical. Sam Bradford got hurt and he still went #1 because of his film (and dumb GMs).

Andrew luck turn down being the 1st pick.

Andrew luck turn down being the 1st pick.

His parents are also wealthy, like Stafford and Manziel's, IIRC.

Can Trayonne Gray play CB? worth a look if he's shiftee enough.

DE- Not as deep as DT but still in decent shape. Al-Quadin Muhammad is the alpha of the group and sets the tone with his effort. Chad Thomas improved over the spring but isn’t there yet. He is still a bit predictable in his pass-rush and doesn’t always finish the play. Some early success will help him make the leap. Demetrius Jackson needs to become more consistent in the run game but was highly disruptive in the pass game. He has excellent closing speed and gets his hands on a ton of passes. Trent Harris makes plays with effort and instincts but lacks impact tools. Pat Bethel is not ready yet.

I see what you did right there^^^^^^ LOLOLOLOLOL

Peyton Manning stayed. Andrew Luck redshirted, started for 3 years and then had one more year of eligibility when he left. But, he would have been a top 5 pick had he exited earlier.

Brad Kaaya is going to get drafted in the top 3 picks if he stays injury free and doesn't have an abnormally bad year.
If you still don't think so...look at what St Louis just gave to have the #1 overall pick to get Carson Wentz or Jared Goff.

How would you guys compare Kaaya to Wentz / Goff?

Money, does Colbert have a shot to unseat a starter?

OL- The first team looks like they will have enough to get the job done. Danny Isidora has finally taken the next step. He played strong, balanced and consistent all spring. Kc McDermott and Trevor Darling are talented guys who can move people. Tyree St. Louis had rough moments, but played well overall and flashed his talents (especially in the spring game). Once Nick Linder and Sonny Odogwu come back, this unit should be fine. The only thing really holding this group back is the lack of a true left tackle.

Ty Gauthier played a lot of center and held up well. I still like him best at guard. Alex Gall improved but is physically limited. Bar Milo played mostly left tackle, but isn’t a natural fit there. He needs to get stronger. The rest of the offensive linemen will struggle to see the field at Miami. There was too much dead weight in the 2015 class and we need a strong group in recruiting this year.

How many of the 2015 guys don't belong? We took 6-kids in that class I believe.Out of 6-kids; only two/three at most belong here?

People should quit whining about WR. That position will transform instantly in the fall with 4 new talented players.

There's one position that should be causing bubble guts for coaches and fans. And that's CB.
