FWIW, Scout has an interview with Powell that doesnt sound very good. Seems he's "got a lot to think about now" after his Tenn visit, since they are now recruiting him at RB which is what he wants to play. He said "Im committed to Miami for NOW, but Ive got a lot to think about".

IMO, if we land Cook, Powell is gone. Coaches need to make sure we dont lose him unless we absolutely get Cook.

I want Powell badly but if its between him and Cook, Cook gets the nod.

This supports what Pete is saying....

You guys are looking at this the wrong way. I came on board late last week... said Ohio State was team to beat going into weekend. Whether you want to believe that or not I am very confident it was the Bucks. But he visits MIA and cancels his announcement. I think this bodes well for MIA. i honestly don't know what he will do now. I think he's torn plus wants to focus on state title. We will see what happens.

I'm confused. You're Jamie Newberg?

if we do end up getting dixon that will be two wins against urban for receivers this cycle. they also wanted berrios. anytime you can beat urban its a good day.

Just a reminder to act like you been there before. Don't believe all the hype, don't get caught up in the BULL SHlT. Many kids will visit between now and NSD, many kids will go somewhere else (due to limited space and not wanting to be here).

Just keep recruiting, protect what we have and finish strong.

So would this list sum up who was here (not just OV but UV too).

- Cook
- Yearby
- Lane
- Rudolph
- Linder
- McDermott
- C. Johnson
- Darling
- Dixon
- Gibbons

Next Week

- Hester
- Pelon
- Powell
- Jenkins
- Njoku (Interesting to see if he makes it down for this visit)
- T. Harris
- Owens
- Wyche
- Young

Rudolph's senior highlights...... He is unreal.

Closest thing to Coley in this year's class IMO

I think he is the best WR in Florida this year. Not that it matters.

The best receiver in Florida is George Campbell

Johnnie Dixon disagrees;

This guy is one of the country’s top recruits for a reason. He’s athletic, strong and smart, which is a lethal combination. Dwyer wide receiver Johnnie Dixon put on a show Friday, catching four passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns. For his first score, he ran past East Lake’s secondary and caught a 75-yard touchdown pass in stride. Dixon had to work a little more for his second score, as he caught a short pass and maneuvered his way through the Eagles’ defense for a 38-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. On defense, Dixon was just as critical. The 6-foot senior shadowed East Lake 6-foot-3 wide receiver George Campbell, who is already verbally committed to Michigan as a junior. Campbell, who is rated as a five-star prospect by 24-7 Sports, was held to just one catch that came on a trick play. Dixon’s performance against East Lake will not be forgotten any time soon.

Consigliere, great post. These recruits are weighing every option possible. Cant get too up or down. A guy like Brandon Powell might just be doing TENN a courtesy since technically they were the first ones on him. We came to the party late. In the end, I think he sticks.

And for people getting up in arms about kids taking visits...chill. Happens every year. Let them have fun. **** how many times has a kid visited us that we KNOW we have no shot at but we bring him down anyway. I expect most of our guys to stick. Lets hope we can close strong.

Tennessee is sitting at 33 commits and they are expecting to land another OL commit from Charles Mosley within the week. That puts them at 34. They are in it for MLB Clifton Garrett. They are also hoping to hit on a few JUCO guys like DJ Pettway and Calvin Heurtelou with JC Signing Day in a few weeks. It's hard for me to imagine how the **** they think they can fit Powell into their class, but that's just me.

Would find a way just to lay a Fuuck you on Miami.
The best high school athlete for 3 years in a row in Tennessee committed to Miami last in Corn Elder.

FSU friend said Cook Isn't announcing next weekend. Maybe he is waiting to see who Florida hires at OC. The crazy recruiting is really starting to heat up.

Under Armour game announcement ..

He has to decommit to announce at the game

Not necessarily..........he just couldn't recommit to Florida per ESPN rules..

I thought the only rule in football recruiting was, don't leave a paper trail.
