Tennessee is sitting at 33 commits and they are expecting to land another OL commit from Charles Mosley within the week. That puts them at 34. They are in it for MLB Clifton Garrett. They are also hoping to hit on a few JUCO guys like DJ Pettway and Calvin Heurtelou with JC Signing Day in a few weeks. It's hard for me to imagine how the **** they think they can fit Powell into their class, but that's just me.

I know Lane has repetitively said that he wants to play with Cook. However, earlier in the recruiting process didn't lane and brady say that they wanted to play with each other? If true does Brady help us at all with lane?

This I had the same question

Isnt the dead period coming up soon? staff has done all they can on cook, now just hope yearby darling and dalvins family convince him to stay home

Not 100% sure on this, but I believe there is no dead period for recruits who signed the FA papers.

Thanks for the update! I want Cook and Lane so bad!!

This is what has to happen every year in recruiting for us to surpass everyone, not an every other year thing. All elite sthfla kids have to stay home

FSU friend said Cook Isn't announcing next weekend. Maybe he is waiting to see who Florida hires at OC. The crazy recruiting is really starting to heat up.

Over/Under on Cook not announcing next week and drawing this out all the way past the New Year? Im gonna go with the over......

i don't think that's how over and under works.

I'm not sure if you know how over/under works then. If he sets Jan 1 as the date under would be anything before Jan 1, over is anything after Jan 1.

Dalvin is a enrolling in the spring which classes begin on January 13th at Miami.

I retweeted a Dan LeBatard tweet earlier today about Miami having Clinton Portis, Frank Gore, and Willis McGahee in the backfield together and Cook's mom just retweeted my retweet

Thats a lot of tweets

Gotta wonder about Powell. The kid wants to be a RB, doesn't want to play slot. How much future is there forf a 170 lb RB? How big can he get? 180, 190? I dunno. I don't follow the pros at all anymore. Are there 170-180 lb RBs making it in the league?

I think of kids we had like Leonard Conley and Alex Johnson. They were good, but limited. They were so small. I know Kehoe told a friend back in the day that Conley was so small that they worried about him protecting the ball.
