Powell is MUCH more explosive than Berrios. Easy decision on who to take if that´s what it comes to.

I want both, but I wouldn't say Powell is much more explosive than Berrios, Berrios tore up the opening and tested off the charts shoing elite athleticism.

If they played football in gym shorts and the guy with the highest SPARQ score won, then Barrero would be up there with Powell. Look at the videos though, and you'll see Powell making S. FL opponents look feeble grasping at him like a fart in the wind. From a football player standpoint, Powell might fart in Berraro's face.

Powell much better upside in my armchair opinion. Put him in a college S&C program for a year and he will blow up. Whoever compared him to Tavon Austin was spot on.

Powell seems to me like a kid you try to take regardless of what happens with anyone else.

Question...now that Derosier and Kamalu are definitely in, how many more DTs do we take outside of Moten?

Is Derosier on campus yet?

---Golden added later in the press conference that although Julio Deroiser and Ufomba Kamalu are not on the roster officially yet, he expects both to be in by Saturday.
.

My point. Until the kid is on campus I wouldn't count him as "definitely in"

Yep, he's the kid you can't put anywhere on the field and he'll jump off the screen (RB/WR). Berrios is great, but he is limited to the slot.

I take them in this order 1a&b. Moten 2. Johnnie Dixon 3. Powell 4. Cook 5. Lammons 6. Rudolph 6. Pelon 7. Pierce 8. Berrios

1. Moten: DTackle no discission required.
2. Dixon: Need that dynamic threat to score every time he touches the ball Eddie Brown type that CAN play slot too.
3. Powell: Man this dude is a dangerous as a Hatian with his first drivers license (my homey Hatian and we agree on this one)
4. Cook: As much as I like Cook its not like we are in dire need at the position. He's a luxury. We got a couple pretty good ones we are pursuing in 2015, Patrick and Scarlett.
5. Lammons: In this pass happy era you can never have too many good CB's
6. Rudolph: This dude runs beautiful routes, is smooth, has great hands and can go the distance. Plus he's a SoFl cat! More Sofl influences we have the better.
7. Pelon: DT! If we keep bringing them in we'll eventially find a stud.
8. Pierce: Man I'm all about competition! I don't care if we're loaded at any position. If a stud wants to come, why come on in son! Bring in the best at all positions especially if he's at our backdoor.
9. Berrios: Would love to have him. Wouldn't mind if his commitment meant one of the previous went elsewhere. All he did was rant about his love for The U blazay blazay! Gets the offer and wanna play hard to get. Plus the SoFl boys have the relationships in the State of Miami and they're really the ones that influence our base. In sales we call it a Win Win

I've heard fans compare powell to a more versatile kevin grooms

Gator hatar, on your post.

1. Powell over Cook
- RB isn't a need? Duke is probably goin to leave after his jr year, which leaves us with Crawford, yearby, Edwards, & crew. Having 2 trustworthy backs (I.e. James + Duke) is a must in todays game. I like Crawford more as a weapon (RB/slot). Can he carry the ball 18 times a game? Not too sure. Obviously the other rbs are young and still have to show themselves. It's not the #1 need by any means, but rbs are suspect to get injured more than other positions. & you never make plans according to next years class. If we recruited like that we would have never even recruited A. Collins. Patrick is probably goin to FSU with his brother & Scarlett says the staff is inconsistent with him. Cook is a top priority no other way to go around it. Staff has been on him hard through both of his commitments and I doubt they let up at any moment.
2. Dixon #2 w/ our current WR depth. If we just took Langham in this class, I wouldn't even be that upset.

We gotta get Cook cuz Scarlett doesnt look like hes in the bag like before. It would be a big fuq up just to land Yearby IMO.

I never said someone wouldn't come. Can they be reliable & produce like Cook? Unlikely. Getting yearby would not at all be a big **** up at all. Top ten running back in the nation. I just think we need a back (preferably a bigger one) to complement yearby.

I think the oline here will be a big factor that will help a top rb no matter who it is even if it isn't Cook who I want in the WORST way. With that said I think the fact that they wanted Gresham so badly they already want that big back and I trust they'll at least be close with others
