When is Trob getting hammered by the NCAA?

No Ridley, SBB, Cole, Johnson and Irvin would be a massive failure.

There MAY be more to add to that list.

Coney, D. Davis, C. Davis and Sheppard.

Reading the recruiting board you'd think Fat Al had it on complete lockdown down here.

Get real, there is just too much talent down here... You can't get everyone. There are also some schools that can provide more incentives ;-) than we ever will be able too. Lastly, some kids just want to get out of town...

So long as we get our share, we will be fine...

You almost hit every excuse in that one reply. Congratulations!

1. Too much talent to get everyone
2. Players getting paid
3. Some kids just want to get away

Only thing missing is him claiming they're afraid of competition and that we only want kids who want to be Canes anyway.

One man's excuses are another man's explanations.

In the last 27 years, Miami's biggest recruiting years in Dade/Broward:

1. 2008 (16)
2. 2014 (12)
t3. 2012 (11)
t3. 2003 (11)
t3. 2002 (11)

That's the first I heard on Victor and Bama.

We got Mullins, Bruce, and Snelson.

Looking like staff trying to take Irvin as a WR/TE.

I felt before we would take 5-6. 7 most. Some as athletes.

We have left on the board

Nate Craig (ATH)
Michael Irvin Jr. (WR/TE)
Brandon Johnson
Dymond Lee
Steven Newbold
Freddie Pinder
Cavin Ridley (ATH)
Darnell Salomon
Binjimen Victor

Don't see Craig or Salomon coming here. Cavin depends on what big brother Calvin does, so that's a question mark right now.

So realistically at the moment it's between Irvin, Johnson, Lee, Newbold, Pinder and Victor at the moment. And looks as if Irvin being looked as a WR/TE. So guess it's the picking of 2-4 between Johnson, Lee, Newbold, Pinder and Victor. Cause Irvin coming regardless.

See us pursuing Irvin and Mathis as our TEs in 2016 class.

You can't get em all, but you sure as **** better get most of the best. And that's where Fat Al is a fat failure.

Atleast I'm not *****in on every single freakin post...

The truth is that it takes a combination of players of all types... S. FL. has WR, RB, and DB's coming out their ***.. I ain't going to cry over any of those positions. It's the other positions that are hard to get down here like DL, OL and QB's.

What sucks is when we lose those kids because guys like Drummond and Tunsil are shopping them all around the SEC while collecting gift cards right and left... Wink, wink...

This weeks special is... Chidi Valentine Okeke and Darnell Salomon in good ol' Alabama!!!

My buddy is a GA at Florida and he says TRob is a clown and not the closer you guys think he is. There are other top recruiters on the UF staff. What TRob brings is the ability to get into SF homes for UF since he meets the "demographic" requirement.

your buddy is full of ****

No, he isnt. He has been asked for a "donation" from SF handlers to get into certain homes when he was at another school. This "donation" was because he was didnt meet the demographic criteria they wanted...TRob doesnt have to make the "donation".

Lots of misses and Al and Co. need to improve on the field to get more of those kids. No argument from me on that. But that is simply stating the obvious.

But people thinking we should get every top-flight kid in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach are either ignorant of history, delusional or simply taking every opportunity to sound like they know more than they do.

huh

Where's the confusion? We don't get near as many Dade/Broward kids as everyone likes to believe. Golden is actually outperforming his predecessors, but it's easy to forget the details after some time.

I see you visit irrelevantstats.net

You're missing a tremendous key part of recruiting. It isn't about just getting local kids, it is about getting the best local kids.

QUALITY > QUANTITY

Every local kid is not equal.

Funny, last year all I read was people crying how we missed 2 of 3 stud RBs and a DT. This year we have, at moment, 4 count them four, top frigging RBs and again it is all about who we DON'T have. 2016 is unbelievable at the moment and 2015 is getting better and better. Every one blamed staff for the university school crap but wonder of wonder, two studs leave there and go to STA and bang now they are Canes. There is a lot going on down here that is not the staff's fault. Everything considered, recruiting has been strong. On the field results are a different matter. That is their blame to take.

Always so much bantering on this board.
