Why exactly are we not recruiting DT's this cycle? I've heard a few names thrown around, but geez, we've been striking out at the DT position since Golden got here (minus Moten).

We are never recuiting that position ever again

I'm just not sure about Loftus.

I don't understand why the OL recruiting has been poor this yr.

Hate our OL class this yr.

Frank,

I like our OL class. especially because OL is the hardest position to project. 29 3* star or lower OL got drafted.. This falls squarely on Kehoe's shoulders.

I agree big ten schools are terrible at evaluating olinemen

Yeah, if there is one area I could care less about stars it's the OL, and a Big Ten offer is like a skill position or DL player getting a top tier SEC offer.

I agree that OL rankings are **** near a guessing game. Sure you see a kid like Flowers his senior year and know that kid is a 5 star talent (but didnt get it ironically) but there's so much development and change that happens, especially when so many of these kids just out-size their competition. It does help to watch experienced staffs that seem to have an eye for it. I think we've done well, with slam dunk prospects and projects alike. We are getting to those years where we should see guys like Isadora, Gall, Gadbois etc. show how well our staff evaluates.

Miami is definitely his best offer

He's got a few pretty **** good offers, Wisconsin sticks out the most. They know OL better then just about anyone.

Plus we have his coach, who is a respected poster on here, telling you his best days are ahead of him.

Why doesn't loftus have an fsu offer?
It's different up there in Tallahassee I'm from the area and football up there. FSU only offers elite talent in Tallahassee there are a ton athletes that go elsewhere because FSU never offers. The talent is not like in south Florida where we need to get everyone as possible.
