If Joe and Mark beat out Gus for running back, why isn't he being put at fullback? Would Cory beat him out too?

A fullback has to be able to block. What have you ever seen from Gus that makes you think he'd be a good fullback?

Gus doesn't have the pad level to run effectively in short yardage so why should we believe that he can all of a sudden get his pads low enough to block effectively?

I only have one concern with the team, not the DBs or the WR.....the OL. How will it develop by fall camp. We have decent talent there but OL is one position where experience is irreplaceable
Yep and good thing that most of our front line guys all have started a bunch of games

lol

Our fans say some funny ****
What's funny about that? Elaborate

not being concerned with our DB and WR depth is insane

We have quality WR, another one whom I expect to break out in addition we have good TEs, and 3 quality WR coming in, at a position thats one of the easiest to translate levels.

As for the DBs, we have 3 experience safeties, who have decent quality. We also have a very good, starting CB. Leaving us unknown at the other CB and nickel. We have talent there, just not much experience, someone will emerge. I am less concern because I fully expect our front 7 to make life difficult for the opposition. Helping the young guys. Simple

Who is Corey Giordino? and How is he getting 1st team reps over Gage Batten at fullback who beat out Tucker last year? This is the most interstering development to me because CMR uses 2 back runs 60-70% of the time.

Batten suffered a foot injury in practice last week. Had surgery and is likely out for year.

That's BS. Ibiz Wings called it. He's back on the current tour as a a roadie with the Allman Brothers.

what makes you say that ? I thought he was pretty good in the limited selection of 2 back runs we had other than his blatant personal foul @ pitt

Diaz is NOT feeling CThomas inconsistent play..Excepts more from Chad.

That's adding 2+2 and getting 10 bro. I won't try to decipher how u cane up with that. I stated my opinion.

What Is the deal with Chd Thomas? I thought this system would be perfect for what he brings to the table.

Chad has one more season to breakout or the BUST banners will start flying instead of the Fire Al Golden banners.Hes just gotta get it through his head that he now officially draft eligible. If that's not enough to wake him up then nothing will.

Hurricanes Fans- Meet the KEYS TO OUR 2016 SEASON:
Quad Muhammed
Gerald Willis
Courtel Jenkins
Kendrick Norton
Chad Thomas
RJ Mcintosh
Trent Tool Bucket

Our LB's are stacked with Darion Owens, Juwon Young,Jermaine Grace, Charles Perry, Shaq Quartermen,Mike Pinckney, and Zach McCleod. Would love to be present in August to see this competition.
But without those guys listed above, the depth at LB won't matter If we don't penetrate up front

can you subtract 1-1?

Tards don't know what depth is?

If we loose Coley(which is always hurt), we don't have any WRs... ****, if he stays healthy we don't even have a true #2 or #3 either. Berrios and Cager haven't done ****.

And our DB situation is even worse.

So yes, the only conclusion I can draw of someone saying we don't need to be worried about WR or DB depth is that they still support Golden and his decisions..

And there is ur phucking problem. I said I am not worried. I, meaning self, me!

Under Randy and Golden our new players seem to get worse every year they were here. Let's hope we have seen the last of that and these kids improve. That is what coaching is suppose to do.
