Where is this,"in the heart of sec" sh*t coming from. Stfu with that nonsense. We need to do better recruiting plain and simple but let's face it it's not a deep year in south Florida as far as receivers go. The only elite one is locked in to bama. Maybe richt and co should have thought about that before kicking Sam Bruce off the team for missing meetings and lieing about how he injured his leg. Dugans need to do better, spanning from the disappointment in not landing juco javon wims even though he is from here, Latrell Williams flipping a week later after committing even though dugans and him were connected to USF for months, now in this cycle taking commitments from Rodney Scott who should not have been offered and dingle(jury is out whether he stays or goes), missing on jeudy plain and simple, getting played by holloman and who knows how much we are in it or not for Devonta smith. Harley is a good take to fill the void of missing Bruce but we need a stud to compete with the opposite side of Ritchard's along with dionte Mullins who has been somewhat forgotten by many on here. He can play

Some people continue to show their idiocy. Didn't bother reading the rest.
That's a harsh punishment, give kids second chances. Bama had kids getting felonies and still didn't miss any games. I mean this kid was suspended 3 games for something he did before getting to Miami which is unheard of... not to excuse what he did because that was dumb af to me.

So are you saying Bruce only had one (maybe two) chance? Are you sure?

People keep screaming that winning bs......when we win win 9 games and have a far more improved team and still cant get elite local studs with an sec staff whats the excuse?
We got some good fkin players right now but these guys have to get the coopers watkins cook collins juedys of the world. They have to get them its there job.....i dont want to give them a pass like i did Radio and grodlen. I get flashbacks and ****.....theres bad signs right now and its hard toignore because we have read this book already

And we had a thread where even his own mom (who happens to know the full story) had no issue with Richt kicking her kid off the team. Bringing this up continues to show ignorance.

Dingle should be in this class smh, We're slow playing him for no reason it seems. But I'll wait til siging day

Pete said the staff isnt high on him. I guess the more they watched of him the less they started to like him.

That's fine and all....but why take the commitment?

The thing with that is that south ridge and carol city both have a number of d1 prospects you don't think that makes some of the other recruits on the team look at Miami in a different light? We should just not have offered Scott period.

Yeah...I think it's bad business to accept the commitment from a kid you clearly are not sure about of apparently not done evaluating.

So we can't sell play time bc we return a front 4? Blasphemy- any stud DL would get in the deep from day 1. Moten, Jenkins, and Willis are average at best. Chad is average at best. It's Mac, Norton, JJ and the rest.are either jags or unproven.

No other way to say but WR and CB recruiting is as bad as I've seen it here. We have zero WR, CBs and OL. The depth chart is wide open. The staff isn't doing something right.

Yeah I don't agree with you on most post but you are spot on at dline recruiting. Bama, lsu does it every year

Yeah receiver recruiting is more of a concern to me.

"Canes coaches are really excited about what they’ve seen from Njoku this season – and by the way, he is up to 6’6"

yes and 215 pounds!

If we want to contend for a national title, we have to land consistent top 10 classes and occasionally a top 5 class every 3-4 years. We will be a top 15 class with this close - that's not elite. The staff is better, the product is better but it's the same results unless we can land some of these big time recruits

Saban doesn't have to drop bags off, bro.

Yeah, so they just stopped buying recruits after a few NCs?

**** No!

They know college football is an arms race, and they keep bringing in 5stars to sit the ****ing bench.

Anyone who thinks that just b/c Bama is running like a well oiled machine, that they don't need to "grease the gears" is a ****ing idiot and doesn't know **** about college football recruiting.

Wake up, elite kids are getting bought.

Patrick Peterson got bought bu L$U

Dalvin Cook got bought by F$U

Cam Newton got bought by Auburn

Sammy Watkins got bought by Clem$on

Calvin Ridley got bought by Alabama

Can't speak for the other poster, but pretty sure he meant someone does that for Saban (obviously). But yes, it's blatantly clear that this happens in college football.

No coach drops the bags off.

They have "bagmen" or "shadow boosters" handle the dirty work.

And I'm pretty sure that post was insinuating that just b/c Bama is so good right now (well oiled machine), that all 5star kids just want to go there to sit the bench, and don't need to be paid ("greasing the gears") when those same kids are being offered big money from schools like Auburn, L$U, Clem$on, UF, F$U, O$U, Ole Mi$$, U$C etc...

Trust me, it wouldn't be the first time someone posted that on here.

Clemson is usually in the 10-15 rankings but I digress

Right now it's really evident in our receiver recruiting. We have one receiver right now...one.

Blake James probably told CMR shortly after he washired that we can't and won't use bagmen. I think CMR and staff are finding out this job isn't as easy as they hoped.

Winning the bowl has to happen. Need some juice heading into signing day

You may be right. The next poster that responded took it the same way I did, but he may have been insinuating that Saban is running a clean program LOL.

Either way though, I'm with you man. Bagmen are real & it's rampant.

Every school has a bagman. They aren't touching Savannah and the sec though
