Kind of good, kind of depressing update.

why is Haskins in the "doghouse"

Homeboy is a knucklehead. Looking like another Kevin Olsen situation. A kid can only be int he wrong place at the wrong time so many times before you start to realize there a problem waiting to happen.

Kevin Olsen just didn't have it talent wise... my homeboy plays at the school he's at now and they say he's terrible. Got benched after the first few games

And he's a spoiled ******* to top it all off.

Good stuff. Thanks Pete. Jan 13 is gonna be huge. This time of year is really not for the faint of heart. It will be interesting to see what the finished product looks like after signing day. I'm still holding out hope for a late WR surprise, but if doesn't happen we'll be ok.

Go Canes!

Man the momentum has come to screeching hault

If they can land the Heritage linemen like I think they will, then the rest is gravy IMO.

I'm still considering McFarland as in the class along Harley and Dean flips too.

thats 6 four stars you say might be favorites in your opinion to come to us. so i dont know how thats not momentum that would be huge. to go with the class we have right now thats ranked #7 on rivals a site that hates us

I'd be impressed if Richt lands all 6. That's just not how it's happened for us in recent years.

The two Heritage lineman and Dean are our most important recruits left. A halfway competent offensive line opens up our entire offense.

Good stuff as usual Pete.
It's exciting to be in the run for some of these bigger out of state recruits. Always good to have more to pick from. A little disappointed like everyone about receivers but it is what it is. I doubt smith comes.
Also can someone tell me What happened with Haskins? I missed this.
Also, we definitely are out for Jeudy then? Don't see anyone even mentioned him on the board anymore.

Jeudy had his OV here at Miami, thought about things for a day or two then reiterated his commitment to Bama-so that’s pretty much a done deal.
Haskins was linked recently to some trouble with Sam Bruce-don’t remember the details

Don't think he's referring to Telfort, Pete has said numerous times that Miami isn't interested. Still would be huge to land the 5.

Taking Holmes after claiming they're not going to take anyone that's average is a contradiction. Not surprised though given the cluster**** that is our current WR class. The language to describe Harley seems to have weakened from "done deal" to hopefulness.

Man, they must really not care for Gamble. Got ****.

Yeah it's odd that they're looking at a TE from across the country who by the sounds of it they've only just reached out to.

Nope, they've been on him for months actually.

But yeah, Gamble is just not a good prospect in their eyes.

Fair enough.

What's up with Corey Holmes - why hasn't he played at Notre Dame?

Don't know. Could be an Adrian Colbert situation thought where he just needs a change of scenery because he is a talented player and was a good prospect out of HS. I remember reading that he was impressing this past spring as a breakout guy.
