So basically we lose the South Florida kids but land a kid from up North who is big and slow. Sounds about right with this staff.

top talent in SFla have been playin Al for yrs now, it will continue. Gonna be hard to sell this program the rest of this year and next year until the Admin decides to change direction with the HC

Late season collapse followed by recruiting collapse...Al golden in full effect.

The truth is Golden want this to get worse and worse. He knows he can't win and is out of his league here. If he can manage to get himself fired he gets his pay day. At this point who cares what the buyout actually is. Pay it!
The funny part is that the buyout would be more than made up for real quick if we start winning. We are an inner city brand. Miami starts winning and we have more fans in the stands, our merchendise sales would go through the roof. The admin is playing checkers and everyone else is playing chess. They can't even see more than one step ahead.

Hey Pete......

Why don't you write a "For Reals" article on the down side of Golden remaining the head coach of the University of Miami......

Your out there......

What are the kids saying on the Streets about the debacle unfolding before us.......

Be honest and don't Fockin' Sugar Coat It...... We can take it..... It's to be expected at this point.....

I think we hold onto Scarlett and Wiliams, I just think He is goin to make Miami work toll the end to keep him, as is Williams... Cager will be a good pick up but we need to look at Richie Cooper again for Speed on the outside, **** hopefully add Julius or Javarius Davis.....

****** coach, Turrible against good teams, hated by fans and players and no confidence by recruits! If there is a second life I wanna be a white dude. I don't care if I'm trailor park trash, at least I won't get fired for being bad at my job.

Since when did the fanbase root for recruits that dont come here

The closest thing you'll get to that from Pete is the bit about Irvin wanting to come to Miami, but not trusting Paul Williams as his coach.

Unless it is defending Genron, then he'll get emotional.

Sorry I opened the thread. On the good side, the collapse of the recruiting increases the chance that administration will no choice but to hire Butch when they fire Al next year. The recruits are adding their own pressure on the BOT. Al really needed to go mid season this past year

One of the main concerns I have (mainly for the next coach) about our past two wrs classes is there is no speed on the outside. Brady, Langham, Cager, Chatman, and Gosier. Makes for a nice redzone unit but I don't believe any of these guys can consistently seperate off slants, digs, outs, posts, corners, etc.

Another major concern of my is the defensive line. The time for a JUCO Dlinemen has passed so are we planning to only add Mcintosh and Fines on the line. And fines is a kid we were not even that high on although Mcintosh is very legit. Patchan isn't a stick your hand in the ground guy and he's coming an acl. He would most likely be groomed for that jack role mccord plays. Jamie G. is a pure LB. It's pretty **** pathetic we had to redshirt Earl moore and Jelani hamiltion just to create more depth at Dline since we can't land anyone.

DB wise the last two years have been pretty **** bad too, aside for Jaquan. While we continue to let top south Florida db talent leave (Jc jackson, quincy wilson, Juwan dowels, davante Davis, Carlton davis, deandre baker, shelderick redwine, ronnie huggins, Tim irvin, Chris Lammons, Fenton, etc.) FSU has brought in 5 high 4* wrs in auden tate, davante phillips, Travis rudolph, ermon Lane, and george campbell (3 from our backyard).

Great work btw Peter

Great points, but I couldn't agree more with regards to WR.

None of these kids can touch Rudolph Dixon or Lane's talent.

I fought the Golden Girls about this issue. We haven't landed a true #1 wr in the last few classes.

Appreciate the work, Peter.
Unfortunately, our recruiting trend is disheartening.
