It is obvious that the primary objective of the administration as it relates to the football program is NOT winning championships. if this were the case, Golden would have been driving north through Yeehaw Junction days ago. This latest news is just more evidence of this.

**If there was any positive from the bowl game last Saturday, it's that this team is now officially Brad Kaaya and Chad Thomas' team. These two have already taken the step to become vocal leaders and many people within the program believe their winning mentality is just what this locker-room needs. Each of them have already been reaching out to other teammates individually and preparing them for the upcoming offseason program.

Insert Duke Johnson, rinse and repeat. The people within the program are tainted by Golden. So I don't much care what they have to say. If any had job prospects anywhere else they should be trying to GTFO.

An entire post of negative **** and oddly enough the positive stuff is coming from people within the program.

IF a miracle doesn't happen and Golden is still the coach in 2015 Thomas is gonna be just as bitter as everyone else at the end of the season when he sees Myles Garrett is being mentioned as the first pick overall for the 2017 draft. While back in Miami team sources are telling Barry Jackson that "UM coaches are surprised by Thomas' lack of explosion which has hampered his development". In other words what Tracy Howard got this year.

He gonna learn

And who can blame these kids? I've been a fan of this program for 30+ years and I am an alum. I'd never let my kid play for these clowns. They have cost their players millions in NFL-draft-order money.

Disagree. Dukes class was all talk but no action while CT and Kayaa actually stood up to the upperclassmen about their effort. Those 2 are the types of leaders we need.

Not trying to be funny pete but isnt cager a hit away from never playing ball again?

I'm trying to figure out why Scarlett would want to go to UF....

New coach with the ability to win now is the only thing I keep getting. They haven't had any impressive RB's for a while.

@joshdarrow: One other recruiting nugget- spoke to Miami Central's Anthony Jones @Ton4_jones. Asked if he had made a decision. Making it this weekend.

CT and Kaaya are saying the right things, but time will tell if they want to be the leaders, or they truly are leaders.

Not going to be too happy with this commitment. We don't need a big Brandon Stokley in today's game of CFB especially with FSU getting these 5* head hunters.

So much for James Coley's incredible South Florida recruiting. An entire staff of non-coaches whose only skill was recruiting and they can't even do that.

Not a single bit of positive news.

We are watching a very slow painful death for this regime.

Fans want regime fired, recruits who would otherwise like to come to Miami are bailing on the regime.

Butch Davis is openly campaigning for the job.

The admin says FU to everyone.

Being a UM fan is really become beyond miserable the last 10 years.

Bicho is here?

Might as well pack it up til 2017. This class is dead and the following might be worse. Unfvckingreal what happened to this program.

You could intentionally try to **** up Miami football and not do as good of a job as this jackass staff. Fml.

While Duke was an incredible player here what type of leader like that asks to be taken off KO returns. The coaching staff should be gone now but the team also had terrible leaders on the field.

I'm gonna ******* throw up. But at least Kaaya and Thomas are vocal leaders, whatever the **** that means. Yay!

**** you Al Golden. **** you.

Jesus effing christ the issue isnt "leaders" or "motivation" or ANY of that nonsense. These kids are horrendously trained. The coordinators are total amateurs, the position coaches are even less qualified, the S&C coach has been part of THREE failed regimes, and the HC thinks you can learn to coach football by reading a Bill Parcells book. No amount of "leadership" was going to help this team win, except from the AD who could grow a pair and hire some qualified people for a goddam change who can actually TRAIN our kids.
