I like this guy. When we start winning again, and all the band wagoners hop aboard, there will be no stopping this train.

The blow out loss to clemson, the CMR hire, the updated stadium..all these things leading up to what is going to be a special time in Miami history for the whole community - especially for us die hards.

Go Canes

Agree. This team is on there way back and its an exciting time for us die hard fans!

Yeah well Doherty was his recruiting coordinator so obviously played a part in it

Like he said, his job is to execute the head coach's vision.

The good thing is that his vision and Coach Richt's vision appear to be aligned. I don't know if that was the case with Golden.

Not sold on this guy at all. He almost destroyed Carolina basketball.

This year's fswho game is going to be big, very big. We win, the game is on and the sec starts peeing itself. If we lose, deflation sets in and Mark takes huge hit. Personally, I believe we win. We have the better QB who is a vet now. We have a Miami level dline coach with the proper attack and destroy mindset, and most important, we have a coach who will not lose the game for us. I do not know if Mark is better than Jimbo, but I doubt that Jimbo is enough better to beat us this time. Our player had him and nole the last two years, heck almost last there, but he vastly out coached golden's girls. That should not happen this time.

I expect Kool to sic the dogs on Cook in the backfield early and often - punish rather than containment. Come 2nd half, hopefully Mark does not get adjusted like golden.

Yeah, I saw that Houston game, and the key for us to stop him is to meet Cook in the backfield like they did

Really like this guy. Not sure how it turned into another thread about how we have to beat Fsu but I like the guy. Important, underrated hire.

The sunshine in the 305 blinded Golden.

Golden was blind in one eye, and couldn't see out of the other.

I am friends with Matt we are fraternity brothers. He is a really smart and hard working guy. He is genuine as well not an ounce of bs with him at all. He is **** good at his job that's why Harbough hired him at Michigan and Richt brought him back.

Sounds good. We will see if top notch croots commit.

Stunned this dude was able to stomach Golden as long as he did given the deep-rooted ambitions he has for the U. Sounds like a true professional. Good interview Pete

You guys talk about getting top notch recruits, like our current class and past one haven't been filled beasts and Miami guys. DJ Johnson isn't top notch? Who tf is then?

Great article. Everyone has formally met the "source" if they didn't know.
