@DMoney or anyone did we ever target the Tampa ND commit Keeley? I see has an offer but I wonder if we actually we hard after him. Seems like he’s all ND(been committed over a year) and apparently an old familiar face is his secondary recruiter at ND.

I loved the way he played. Reminded himself so much of me. Not the biggest or fastest but had heart. I love that in a player
You must be a big Ragone fan. I’ve seen enough undersized slow players to last me a lifetime. I’m enjoying the Mario era. The biggest and fastest with heart.

Nope not a fan at all. All Spence did was earn Freshman All American honors and semi finalist for the Butkas award. Nothing big
Zero ***** given about any of that. Or any kind of argument. No need to get defensive. Never said he wasn’t a good player. Just making the point that Cane rosters have been littered with some of the best football players in the history of the game. Sean Taylor being one and Sean Spence not being close to one. I really don’t like criticizing any Cane just thought it was an odd player to pick as your 2nd favorite cane if your last name isn’t Spence.
To each his own though. Carry on.

Spence was a ball player. About the only one from that #1 recruiting class I can remember. Using Ragone as your comparison is worse than someone deeming him their second favourite Cane. Bad take.

Ain’t no way comparing Spence to Ragone. Gotta be kidding me. Ragone short and slow. Spence wasn’t heaving but a solid 6’1 205 LB with SPEED
I wasn’t comparing them. I think it’s pretty obvious. My point was if you like undersized players who aren’t fast but play with heart you prob like Ragone or Rudy. Not hey Ragone is as good as Spence. JFC

Iowa kid who committed to Iowa early on. Cant blame the kid for staying home, especially since he's an O-lineman. Iowa puts a significant number of O linemen into the NFL.
A pretty good NIL package didn’t hurt. Proctor and the 5 star safety from last class got paid, They were not going to let 2 generation talents like that leave Iowa.
