Even if the limit doesn't increase, the coaches have openly stated that we're expecting to lose 6-8 lineman after this year. No reason why we shouldn't bring the same amount in. Should be getting 3 tackles, 3 guards, and a center...at minimum. Hope that at least 1 mimic Francis, and 2 more can contribute by year 2.
With the portal the way it is I don’t see how you can keep over 90 kids on a roster at any given time. Only what..22 kids can start?. In this landscape..if you’re not at least in the top 44 kids getting PT..kids are transferring out. I would be interested to see how many programs can carry 105 scholarship kids year to year. These programs will absolutely have to have a roster management dept with that many kids to keep track of.
Where the DTs? Seem like we still struggling to recruit that position

Upshaw reminds me of Zay Flowers, who we passed on as a three star out of high school, and couldn't land out of the portal Mario's first year here. Same body type and playing style.
The chances are low but are greater than zero. Would be a **** of a trick play.
Top players no doubt. My expectation is a lot of the PWOs like the TE we have will convert to scholarship athletes.
