Quick one today since everyone is working on a big finish.

- Miami is still looking to close on Cam Ward or Will Howard before NSD. Both continue to communicate with Miami. No decision has been made.

- There is optimism for a clean sweep of the Official Visitors this weekend for Miami.

- Miami is still alive and battling for WR Jeremiah Smith.

- DB Zavier Mincey (Daytona Beach) is not a done deal for Miami, as has been speculated, but Miami remains strongly in the mix.

- We are in communication with RB Kevin Riley (Tuscaloosa) after his Alabama visit. I'll know more on that one later.

- I expect RB Chris Wheatley-Humphrey (South Broward) in the class even if we sign Riley and RB Jordan Lyle (STA).

Brad Kaaya numbers wise. As a player Miami hadn’t had a real dynamic QB in decades. King only lasted a couple games.

Man Kaaya had such a big opportunity to come back his senior season. I think a lot of things are different if that happened.

There is no guarantee we get Ward, and if we do it will be much more expensive than if we got TVD back. Sometimes, I think when you recruit well, and we did with TVD, you have to let the final act in the play show itself. I know most of you don't agree but, to this point anyway, I don't think we are better off without him than we were with him. Just my opinion.

Why isn’t USC pursing Cam Ward? Seems like he would be a more natural fit for their offense than Howard is
