I like Mikeska film and what he does in his high school scheme seems to be similar to what we run but a trade of Mikesa for

Moliki Matavao aint bad as it seperates the te group class a bit. And Matavao has a year of s&c.

And he's Samoan. Moar Polynesians!

In the last 10 years what QB other than Bennett won championship that's not playing on Sundays? I'll wait. Idc about 2001 football has changed since 20 years ago.
Georgia's blueprint is pretty much a copy of miami's 2001 team . A whole lot more talented than everyone else across the board

By popular demand, I am adding a written breakdown to the video report. I would still encourage you guys to watch the video for additional info, a fine head of hair and a Hollywood jawline.

  • Last Tuesday, I said that Miami was very confident on Samson Okunlola and Rueben Bain. Today, they are both Canes. The next name to watch is Mark Fletcher. He is visiting this weekend and Miami feels very good. Florida had the momentum coming out of last week’s visit, but the last visit is huge and communication is going very well. Fletcher is a huge piece to the class- one of the best overall football players in Florida who is built like the Terminator. Don’t be surprised if Miami also adds a RB in the Portal.
  • The focus of WR will be transfers. Don’t’e Thornton (Oregon transfer) is visiting this weekend and provides a deep ball threat, with a career YPC over 20 yards. This is not a done deal- Thornton is going through the process and needs to be recruited. But the visit and prior relationship is encouraging. Grant Dubose (Charlotte transfer) is a potential NFL player and there is heavy mutual interest. However, because he already used his transfer from Miles College to Charlotte, he needs to graduate and then enroll as a grad transfer in the summer. Miami also expects additional names to jump in the Portal in the next month or so based on trends from last year.
  • Javion Cohen (Alabama transfer) is one of the best guards in the country and is visiting this weekend. I continue to like the Canes here. Miami wants competition at guard and Ben Scott (Arizona State transfer) is being evaluated. The OL class looks solid- Tommy Kinsler is the only concern because of location, but he is talking and acting like a Cane.
  • There is a strong chance Reid Mikeska flips to South Carolina, where he is visiting this weekend. Miami is monitoring Moliki Matavao (Oregon transfer) as a potential Portal addition. He was the #5 TE in 2021 and had good film this year.
  • Miami will add 1-2 big DT bodies in the Portal to replace Darrell Jackson and Jordan Miller. Ahmad Moten (2022 signee) improved as much as anyone throughout the season, as we saw on the goalline stand versus Pittsburgh. He will have a chance. Thomas Gore (Georgia State transfer) is visiting this weekend. Miami is trying to get bigger across the board, which makes Gore an unusual offer as an undersized DT. But the explanation was simple—“he is too good.” They don’t want to miss on the next Calijah Kancey, and Gore (a twitchy former wrestler) has been one of the most disruptive interior linemen in the nation. Miami is also continuing to work on Enow Ettah (Michigan commit out of Texas).
  • Someone inside the Hecht told me Reuben Bain was the most important commit in the class- an “alpha” who “legitimizes this class locally.” He is already on the phone with uncommitted prospects.
I will continue to dig on the defensive backs like the Brown Brothers.
I like seeing words.

I know you can never have too many RBs especially after what happened this past season with injuries but if miami gets fletcher and another portal back that's gna be 6 high end guys again. Wonder if anyone will be looking to move on. Seems in today's game nobody is willing to wait their turn. That would put us at Parrish, Chaney, Citizen, Johnson, Fletcher, and portal back...
Both Fletcher and CJ will be true Freshman. Citizen coming off a serious injury that was career threaten. Chaney haven’t prove can stay Healthy. And Parrish had a bang up season. Yes need another portal RB

All of that sounds awesome, but not sure how anyone can look at our class and listen to what @DMoney said and not think that Gattis/the uncertainty of who will be OC and WR coach is having a significant negative impact on WR recruiting. Less than a week out from ESD and at arguably our weakest position we have two slot receivers committed, seemingly no prospects with other high school receivers, and uncertain portal options. Mario absolutely killing it with recruiting most positions but the Gattis/WR situation is really perplexing and concerning.
I’ll have to agree and add DT to that.

You are killing us Dmoney, very thorough review of the offensive side of the ball.

Then you switched to the defense and stopped at the D-line…🤣

LB, CB, and Safety?

Thanks for the updates ..where the nice couches at…you have to hock them to pay your gambling debt..🤷‍♂️

Not saying it doesn't make sense. Just saying the way kids are these days that would probably spell another transfer

I get what you saying but that was poor character issues with Thad. He was mad Don was getting more rep then him and walk out of practice. But every College should know every P5 school carry 5-7 RB

Someone quoted the post so the video is on this page now.
But why does it automatically play and go pip when scrolling without having me click it first? literally I clicked the thread. it autoplayed to pip and the first 30 seconds were ads which somehow cover up the x in the top right so you can't close the pip, and trying to swipe it off the screen doesn't work... At the very least people that pay for ad-free CIS shouldn't have that (add a setting unlock). force that experience on all the people that don't pay the fee.
