So I reckon you were among those talking about how Irma was gonna be worse than Andrew, and how it was going to be the worst storm ever to hit and how it was going to just level South Florida.

And then what actually happened: you got grazed by the outskirts of a catagory 3 storm that actually hit the west coast of Florida.

I don't know who you are, but you seem to remember me. What I said was if the hurricane doesn't hit Miami, a lot of people are going to come out looking like fools for overreacting, so for their sake it better hit. Time proved me correct on that as well - a lot of people look like they overreacted.

Absolutely nobody "looks like the overreacted". A category 5 Hurricane downgraded and shifted left. To not be prepared meant you were an idiot. We got lucky. (Even though that is a dumb statement since I spent the day helping people that took a kayak to their house)

Take a look at the Keys and the entire West coast. My best friend is a firefighter/paramedic and he just got off this morning after working straight through since Saturday. He works in North Port (around Sarasota) and was evacuating people in waist deep water in their homes. You are the most ignorant of the ignorant

For example, anyone who wanted to talk about football was met with "How can you even think about football at a time like this? The wrath is upon us!"

And now those people look like overreacting fools, yes.
 
Hey Meat, why don't come to my house in Miami and hang with us as we keep piling up the trees. Took a day to find the pool. No power since Sunday, then you can go 80 miles south with us and see if our friends still even have a foundation where their house should be, so yes nothing really happened.

Wrong. People that complained about a meaningless game being cancelled were met with people that were aware of a storm with 185mph winds was projected to hit Miami and kept that in perspective. That's not overreacting. Just because it wasn't as bad as it could have been doesn't change that.
