Richt has a major challenge this season and that's proving to everyone this Offense is moving forward. Unfortunately, he has been dealt a ****ty hand (not his fault) with the QB position, and this will raise some flags to many. Hence, why my expectations are maintained this year. I expect Perry to eventually become the starter (with our weak schedule) and build momentum for 2018.

Nah, he and his offense are proven Heisman-makers. Plus, he's been dealt a ****** hand with more than the QB position; what about the Oline? Last season vs Pitt we scored, what, 50? RAB after got rolling we put it on em. There were flashes last season we couldn't maintain for a myriad of reasons. He's fine.

When are yall gonna learn?

When a QB with $h!tty HS numbers balls out in College.

Crow...nope.
Allison...nope.
Sitkowski...see Crow & Allison

Francois for FSU had ****** numbers in HS prior to IMG.

Not any different from Sitkowski

Very different from Sit.

He hasn't had a season yet at IMG.

Try again later this year after he balls out (hopefully) at IMG.

But right now, he's a guy that looks and acts the part with no actual results.

The problem were running into now (not sure if you picked up on it yet D is with letting recruits watch sherriffs & Ryan Collins lil brother is they're getting worried about us moving forward. They need to see our offense isn't this regularly. Because it can become a double edged sword. Some may see the opportunity while others may be scared away because they feel we can't compete. All I'll say is a certain 2018 qb commit left this weekends scrimmage comparing us to other teams he's seen & talking a bunch of **** bout how the offense looked... let just hope most of our kids are leaders and not followers.

Bruh, if nick Saban can convince three 5* WRs to commit to him after that **** show last year and after Jalen Hurns almost singlehandlh killed Calvin Ridley draft stock not to mention having two other 5* WRs on bench as well..Richt should be able to tell these kids his hand picked successor ain't on campus yet and to trust him.

His handpicked successor is the one rallying the troops around what a ****show we are on offense...

You think it was just a heat of the moment thing or is he legitimately going to sway the opinions of others we're after? From whats been put out there it seems like our class has a bunch of alphas that just want to be here.

Hope he tries to position himself as part of the solution to other recruits

So our 2018 QB is now recruiting against us? LOL.

Everyday these fools exceed how dumb I thought they were the day before. Art probably said "man these guys suck" talking about the QB's we have. If he said anything at all.

Shiitowski has ****** high school numbers just like Allison... I told y'all once before shiitkowski is Allison on steroids he won't play here either

Who the **** cares about numbers man?
When are yall gonna learn?

Yall want numbers? My buddy's QB's threw for 3400 yards. You think he should be at Miami instead of Lehigh?

Numbers don't matter to anybody except fans.

Great HS numbers don't mean you're going to be a great college QB. Bad HS numbers almost always mean you're not going to be a great college QB.

Show me a great college QB who put up horrible numbers like Sitkowski did.

Maybe he'll turn it around this year, but, at this point, he's a workout warrior. Big strong guy with a big arm who looks great in orchestrated situations with no pass rush and no band playing.

Now, he's orchestrating some recruiting movement against us. Fcking Benny Hill theme should be playing in this thread.

Any good college QBs out there that weren't productive in high school?

I don't know what every high school/college QB threw for but I'm willing to bet there's some kids with modest numbers that were good college QB's.

You guys can argue me all you want but college coaches agree. I know for a fact that they don't give 2 ****s about high school stats.

And the QB position from high school to the NFL is the one that is most poorly evaluated by those same coaches. IF you're a QB who isn't productive and can't elevate his teammates the likelihood of that same QB doing it at a higher level of competition is small.

You think it's poorly evaluated or just harder to predict than other positions? (I think the latter)

They'd have to be retarded to overlook terrible production in a HS QB. There's probably 5 guys in the history of college football who had terrible numbers as a HS QB and went on to kill it in college.

If Sitkowski has another year remotely similar to last year he's all but guaranteed to fail at the next level. He's on bust watch right now. He's got a chance to quell that by producing this year.

I actually entertained the thought of me being wrong so I checked with my buddy, who played QB and coached/scouted QB's on the college level. Nothing about stats.

QB's.jpg

The long list of big-time schools that offered Sitkowski would suggest that stats don't matter as well. But what do all of those guys know?

Clearly you guys are better at evaluating QB's than my buddy who's coached/scouted QB's on the college level plus a bunch of big-time college programs that don't seem to be bothered by Artur's stats. LOL

1. Anticipation/processing
2. Release/mechanics
3. Feel/instinct/movement in pocket
4. Accuracy
5. Arm strength

In college, you can probably flip #2 and #3 . It's crazy to me how often people overlook shoddy mechanics. A release is like a golf swing - it can be altered, but it'll be a long process and most people go back to their default when the pressure is on. I've rarely seen someone make a 180 degree type change to a poor release.

The problem with looking at stats is...

They can be very misleading. He could be playing for a ****ty Offensive Coordinator. He could be playing with scrub skill players. He could be playing in a run-heavy offense.
At the same token, his stats could be awesome cause he plays with incredible skills players or for a great/innovative OC.

High school stats mean nothing. They've never meant anything. Not a single god **** college coach asks about them when recruiting a kid.

The Sitkowski "stats" argument is dumb because he's pretty obviously going to put up monster numbers this year at IMG.

Come November, it will be the exact same situation as Francois: Bad numbers pre-IMG, huge numbers at IMG.

If he somehow fails at IMG then yeah, that would say alot. But I'd bet pretty much anything that doesn't happen

other than aaron rodgers moving away from the tedford style of holding the ball (which didnt really impact release), i cant think of a QB who has successfully adjusted their mechanics at any level.
