Holy ****!!! Talk about obliterating angles! Shivers has speed to burn. Wish we could get him.

i realize our needs & limitations, but i think you save a spot for a kid like shavers.

reminds me of kermit whitfield. wont need him to make plays every game, but once in awhile....

I thought Patterson could be the 3rd back in this class. But does he have better film than Shivers? Shivers' film is pretty spectacular. I wonder how big Shivers' lower body is. If he's a tree trunk with that kind of speed, i think we need to make room. Choc Gray is expendable and Walton will likely leave early.

Am I the only one that thinks Ford is better than Shivers ? .. And faster

Ford just told me he has officially transferred to Booker T

Love this kid...Wouldn't argue with an offer.

Confident Curry will get his offer and we'll take 3 though. Just too good to turn away.

Thanks, DMoney, good work.

Excellent work, Demetrius "Big" Money. It's gonna make me a little sick to not have room for an explosive homerun threat like Shivers or Ford. Those are the kinds of guys who can steal a game for you with a KR TD.

Shivers is such a gamer too. He's a guy you make room for in this class.

The only thing is that he isn't a great receiver.

Like Ford better than Shivers...Bigger with more shake and hands.

Nope Ford def better overall back imo... prob not faster though.

Ford is 1-2 inches and 10 lbs. away from being Duke Johnson. The kids highlights are sick imo.

Shivers nice player w speed, but just too small and as others on this thread have said---not great wiggle for a small back.

I'm with the Ford over Shivers crowd (though I think it's highly unlikely either will end up in this class), but I may be a biased Cavalier. He's very versatile. Plays with burst, suddenness, and toughness. Has the speed to break plays outside but isn't afraid to mix it up inside. And he managed to be very productive behind as less-than-stellar Gables OL (check out his highlights and count all the runs where there is a dude in the backfield within .5 second).

here's why i take shivers IF you take a 3rd back in this class.

the play at 5:40 in Ford's hudl posted on the first page.

whoever we take with that spot, isnt going to get PT over homer, burns(if healthy), lingard, camron davis, or our likely 2019 haul either. just not going to be in the cards. but what that spot CAN most likely do, is fill a unique roll on the team as a kick returner. a true weapon that can win you a few games on their own. shivers gives you that without having to rely on a starter risking injury or wear and tear. and most importantly, on those rare occasions when the field opens wiiide up...no one is catching him.

shivers hudl at 2:08

he ran all that way all over the **** field, then still had the gear left to dust that last man's angle w ease.

we have fords on this team. we dont have a shivers

Running backs

Cam Harris - Signed with Miami. Redshirted 2018. Split carries with Deejay Dallas in 2019, put up 576 rushing yards and 6 total TDs. Feature back in 2020, put up pedestrian statistics but Rhett Lashlee's running game consisted of one play. Took a backseat to Jaylan Knighton in 2021. Declared for the NFL Draft, went undrafted, had a workout with Carolina, nothing came of it. Free agent.

James Cook - Signed with Georgia. Backup RB from 2018-2020. Split carries with Zamir White in 2021 & was one of the best backs in the country. 2nd round pick by Buffalo in 2022.

Shaun Shivers - Signed with Auburn. Part of the rotation from 2018-2020 & was one of the most fun players to watch in the SEC. Battled injury in 2021. Transferred to Indiana, was the feature back for the Hoosiers in 2022. This hit looked like it hurt:

Johnny Ford - Signed with USF. Exploded onto the scene as a true freshman, quickly becoming one of the most electric players in college football. Moved to slot receiver in 2019, battled injury. Injured again in 2020 before entering the portal in the middle of the season. Transferred to FAU, where he again starred offensively & regained his place among the FBS elite. Hurt in 2022.

Miles Jones - Flipped from Vandy to Nebraska on NSD. Moved to receiver. Played in one game in 2018, catching one pass for 21 yards. Did not play in 2019. Entered the portal. Walked on at Tennessee. Did not play there. Looks like he is trying to become an actor now.

Lentivone Lesane - Looks like he was committed to UCLA at one point, unsure what happened there. Signed with Duquesne. Redshirted 2018. Totaled 131 rushing yards and a TD in 2019. Not sure what happened after that. Saw he got a PPP loan for $14,375, hope he pays that back.

Keshaun Clarke - Played at some postgrad school in Port St. Lucie, then played at both Golden West CC in California & Garden City CC in Kansas. Current status unclear.

Craig Cooper - Plays for the University of Fort Lauderdale of the NCCAA. Not sure if he went straight there, went to JUCO or what. 44 yards and a receiving TD in 2021.

Corey Cola - Signed with Keiser University (I didn't even know they had an actual campus much less a football team.) Didn't play in 2018 or 2019. Currently plays at Laney CC in California, maybe Keiser wasn't NCAA I guess but idk how he has the eligibility to still be playing JUCO ball.

Davonne Kendrick - Arrested for burglary his junior year of high school. Signed with FAMU. Can't find any stats on his time there. Transferred to Florida Memorial in 2022. 16 rushing yards, 20 receiving this year.

Keyondre White - Signed with Akron. As a true freshman, 81 yards and a TD on 23 carries. Left the team days before the season opener in 2019. Transferred to Hampton in 2020. Did not play 2020. 58 carries, 241 yards, 4 TDs in 2021. 16 carries, 34 yards in 2022.

Dawson Hill - Signed with Georgia State. Played in one game as a freshman. Injured 2019, 2020, and 2021. Not on team, or anywhere else, in 2022.

Lawrence Papillon - Signed with Marshall. Redshirted 2018. Reserve 2019 and 2020. I can't find anything else after that.

Te'Corey Tutson - Looks like he was committed to Akron at one point, unsure what happened there. Signed with Fort Hays State, a Division II school in Kansas. Redshirted 2018. One of the most dynamic kick returners in the country in 2019, also part of the stable at RB. Unsure what happened 2020 but he didn't play. Transferred to Livingstone College, a CIAA school in North Carolina. Part of the rotation at RB and KR last two seasons.

Trey Flowers - Signed with UPenn. Played 7 games as a true freshman, logged 2 carries and a TD. 20 carries, 66 yards as a sophomore. The Ivy League canceled football in 2020. 379 rushing yards and a TD in 2021. Quakers feature back in 2022, 509 yards and 7 TDs on the ground to go with 134 receiving yards and TD through the air.

Jakyus Johnson - Can't find anything on him after high school.

Jeremiah Coleman - Can't find anything on him after high school.

Jakari Norwood - Signed with Illinois. Played 3 games as a freshman. Backup RB 2019, 2020, 2021. Transferred to Temple, was a backup there in 2022. Recently entered portal again.
